It's very evident on the replay as the direction of flow on the field reversed and the EWU player dove at Alex...knee height from the side, hardly an accident.grizzaholic wrote:Jesus-TAP DANCING-christ. Disagreed on all counts. You obviously have no clue about this kid, questioning his character...that is a joke. Do a little research and you'll think otherwise.Bronco wrote:I didn't see the eGriz threadEWURanger wrote:

the play was already way down field when this happened
It was a cheap shop pure and simple
I doubt he will be around for his senior season.
he has shown that he has bad character and they usually don't last
Probably something off the field
Wasn't a cheap shot, it was a great play...wasn't WAY down the field, either - watch it again.
Basically you are being kinda a douche and a sore loser - got it.

I don't see it that way at all. I see a beautiful, text book tackle. Mocking would be like all the different photo-shopped images you put in all the different threads prior to the game. If you're willing to dish it out, you better be willing to take it. The only reason you're taking offense to it is because you got your asses kicked.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:I like how Rangers sig is just mocking Montana fans..........classy.

That's why it's mocking us.......it was textbook and not the chick slapping arm tackles we are known for. If ONE of our players got a player to the ground like that it would be because the player lost his balance.EWURanger wrote:I don't see it that way at all. I see a beautiful, text book tackle. I know, this thread needs to die, but I thought some people might enjoy these sound clips.

Whether or not you think it was a cheap shot, why is blind-siding a guy who has no idea you're there (and was completely out of the play) something to brag about, especially considering the guy who did it shied away from contact like a little bxtch the rest of the game?Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:I know, this thread needs to die, but I thought some people might enjoy these sound clips.

You must cringe every time Tripp blind sides a QB.Grizalltheway wrote:Whether or not you think it was a cheap shot, why is blind-siding a guy who has no idea you're there (and was completely out of the play) something to brag about, especially considering the guy who did it shied away from contact like a little bxtch the rest of the game?Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:I know, this thread needs to die, but I thought some people might enjoy these sound clips.

QBs are still in the play when they get hit, and if they aren't, the other team gets a flag for it.kalm wrote:You must cringe every time Tripp blind sides a QB.Grizalltheway wrote:

So you're against Tripp playing hard until the whistle blows. Perhaps your LB's should become a protected class.Grizalltheway wrote:QBs are still in the play when they get hit, and if they aren't, the other team gets a flag for it.kalm wrote:

Tripp was still in the play, and could've caught Clark from behind, as Coach Baldwin stated in the 2nd interview I posted. Please go get your butt hurt checked out by a doctor, could be something serious.Grizalltheway wrote:QBs are still in the play when they get hit, and if they aren't, the other team gets a flag for it.kalm wrote:

Oh, so your dear leader Baldwin said it, and that makes it true? Jordan isn't a sprinter, and he wasn't catching anyone on that play. The other defenders who were closer to Clark didn't even get him.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:Tripp was still in the play, and could've caught Clark from behind, as Coach Baldwin stated in the 2nd interview I posted. And it's not as if Clark sprinted straight to the end zone. Christ he ran laterally as far as vertically and came to an almost complete ankle breaking stop. IF Tripp was out of the play it would have been his bad for lack of pursuit.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:The other defenders aren't All-Americans.Grizalltheway wrote:
