#3 EWU @ #10 Montana Game Thread

It may not be easy. Playing in the Pocatello barn, you have to be prepared to play virtual arena ball. Plus throw in the fact that Kramer will want to stick it to EWU and the perceived difficulties Big Sky teams seem to have after the Griz game. Granted I would not bet against you, but I don't think it will be easy, especially if EWU already has a W penciled in.

ISU has improved, but let's not get too crazy. They haven't improved THAT much. They lost to UND at home.

Like I said, I would not bet against EWU, but it may not be too easy. Seems like undefeated Montana went to Pocatello just a few years back in November to play a winless ISU team and it was some ridiculous score of 10-9 after the 3rd quarter. That barn is a strange place to play.

Congrats to EWU on their win today!

Vernon was as good as advertised, and fun to watch. But, the kid that impressed me the most was #10, Kupp! Dude was a fuckin' load all game, and played like he was 10' tall! Kalm told me he is from Yakima, but he plays like he's from Havre!

Best of luck against the Bobcats next week! That game should be a beauty!

In the midst of hosting my own pity party after the Griz loss today, I realized that MSU plays at Northern Colorodo next weekend.

Regardless, if Coach Baldwin allows #10 to travel with the team, you guy's should do just fine in two weeks!

We are playing like we should win just for showing up. We play well in spurts and I think we have the talent but somehow we are not putting it all together.

We lost the EWU game for a lot of reasons, the biggest in my mind was desire. Eastern wanted it more and they went and got the ball or made the plays they needed to to win. We never adjusted defensively and left our linebackers on receivers way to often. You can say we held them late in the game but I think that was more Eastern just holding on for a win. I don't blame Adams for throwing the ball up there like he was, several were not good throws but his guys were getting the ball and ours weren't.

He has a lot of trust in his WRs and isn't afraid to let them go get it. That 1st down catch by Kupp on our first drive was the perfect example. I'm kind of disappointed we got so conservative at the end, as it easily couldn't been a comfortable 3 score win, but a win is a win. Take it, and move on to the next.

#93 was an absolute beast. There's a play during the game (probably more than one ) where he absolutely blows the offensive lineman he's over into the backfield on a run play....but one in particular stands out where Poole almost fell over backwards he was blown back so hard.

On the flip side, #57 was a complete punk jackass...he almost singlehandedly cost you guys the game, keeping two key drives alive with completely retarded penalties.

I have no problem with this play...but I do find it ironic that the same little bitch that would do this spent the entire game laying down on the turf whenever a defender got within 5 yards of him.

I doubt he will be around for his senior season.
