In fact, we didn't even give up 450 yard of OFFENSE to NAU.
But you got your ass handed to you, was my point.

Says the guy who was quick to point out that your DEFENSE only gave up 42 (ONLY  ) to SHSU....using your logic, we lost by the skin of our teeth to NAU.

You missed the whole point of that post - I was comparing what our D gave up against SHSU vs what our D gave up against the #9 scoring offense in FBS.... pretty comparable. OSU has put up 44 or more in all but two of their games so far...

We're claiming moral victories from last year, like the CP fans after last week's game. 8-)

We actually went 9-2 last year.

Cats won't have more than one loss in conference. We will beat EWU and the friz. We will then lose to SHSU in the quarter finals.

I am thinking the same, except it might be Fordham or Towson.

I haven't seen anything to indicate the cats will beat both. I think they split those at best, and that's not just me being a homer.

I think they lose to Eastern, only because its in Cheney and they lose to Montana because it's what they DO.

Sounds fair. Which do they lose to and why? They could lose to both with the inconsistencies of all three. IMO If they all three play their to there potential EWU wins both, Cats beat UM.

I don't think we will lose again for at least another 5-10 years. I expect we will score at least 50 points in the first half of every game for the rest of forever. I also think that my wife still loves me, kids will be smart, and that my hair will go back...

There's a VERY good chance that happens with Sac, but I'm thinking we play out 3-1. That clearly won't be good enough to do us any good, though. We HAVE to win out to have a shot, but I don't think even THAT will get it done. The scenario I drafted has us finishing #2, but getting the old snub anyway. In my scenario, there will be five playoff-qualified teams, but I think that we'll get THREE of those in. Sac and NAU will be on the outside looking in even if my scenario happens. The one-bid conferences and too many good teams in the other power conferences for us to get four, much less five. The selection committee CLAIMS history doesn't play a factor, but we all know it does. I think we'll have to set get the auto-bid to set the precedent, and that ain't happening THIS year, not by a long shot. We screwed the pooch on THAT a couple of weeks ago, if not with our extended season-opening funk.

That said, EWU beats the Griz....

Think we have a very good shot of winning x3 of those games; Idaho State, Weber State and Northern Arizona. Idaho State and Weber State as we should win those games and NAU because every year the games are really close and can go either way (last 5 seasns the difference between all games was only 21 points) and we are home so I like our chances. Montana State will be very tough to win, but if we can win 3 out of the next 4 I think we have a shot at the playoffs. :twocents:

I would favor CP to beat EWU at home at this point, though we'll know more about how EWU does against a solid running team tomorrow. That game, EWU/MSU, and CP/NAU look like coin flips, though.
Davis might beat Sac, just because they always do.
Weber will probably beat ISU, " " " " ".
I'd be surprised if Davis lost to NoDak at home.

Typically. But we smothered CP and their TO last year.
You held Cal Poly to 17 points, but gave up 411 yards (5.4 yards per play). I would say you contained Cal Poly's offense, not smothered it.

Last year was in Cheney. This year it is in San Luis Obispo. I hope EWU's players come in as confident as you.
