Responding to reports that the Baltimore Ravens were being paid to promote Obamacare, Glenn Beck and his co-hosts began looking through a report from 2009 that documented which political parties, by team, NFL owners, executives, and players donated to.

When Beck and co-host Stu Burguiere discovered that 97% of the donations made by people affiliated with the Washington Redskins went to the GOP, they knew immediately that this was the reason the team is currently at the center of a debate over whether the term "Redskins" is offensive.

"Oh my gosh!" Beck marveled. "Follow the money."

"I will bet you that is to send a message," he said, claiming that the Redskins are being tortured and having their right to free speech violated by vindictive political operatives.

Of course, the San Diego Chargers and Houston Texas donated both more money and a higher percentage of it to Republicans without being targeted ... but presumably that is all part of the conspiracy theory:
