A lot of GoHens speculation on whether KC Keeler will be there, but other than Mike Adams not being available I'd imagine most of the team will be there.
I'd guess Keeler won't be there. He has the ESPN 3 gig and it's probably too soon to come back. Besides, Brock already honored KC by running his offense during the Navy game.

"....there was not enough interest in a Duke Club pregame eating event and that it was cancelled. There is another option:

The JMU pre-game gathering will be located at Matilda's Pub and Barbie, located at 801 S College Avenue, Newark, DE 19713. The venue is 0.4 miles from the stadium and parking is available on site. Due to the closeness to the stadium, the pub will have parking attendants. Our JMU guests will just need to tell the parking attendant that they are with the JMU group at Matilda's and they will be let into the parking lot at no charge. Once inside, we have an area reserved for JMU Fans. We have scheduled the gathering from 4:30pm - 6:30pm with the restaurant. There is no charge, but JMU fans are responsible for paying for their own food/beverages. Let us know if you have any questions......"

Only way we'll do that would be up to 2:30. I plan on being parked at 3:00.
For some reason I've never really seen a large contingent of JMU fans at the Tub through the years. Not sure why that is, as plenty of kids from this neck of the woods find their way down to school in VA. Even little Richmond has had bigger crowds in the Tub than JMU has. I think the biggest crowd I saw was a 5 streamer crowd, not much more than that.
4 biggest factors on turnout are gonna be weather, game time, team records, and TV

JMU hasn't played @ UD in 4 years since 09'. 2-5/0-4 JMU team came into the Tub and beat a 5-2/3-2 UD team 20-8. Both teams went on to finish 6-5/4-4. JMU didn't many fans that day I agree. Maybe only a couole hundred at best. But were 2-5/0-4.

Prior to that in 07' when you had 2 playoff bound teams meeting up in early Nov I thought JMU had a decent contingent.

05' I was there but can't really remember..

But got to remember, since the last time JMU was @ UD have knocked off nationally ranked VT and opened the newly expanded Bridgeforth.

Both team 3-1, decent expectations, good weather. But gonna have 2 factors hurting JMU attebndance.

Even though JMU doesn't have the geriatric fanbase that UD does, the 7 PM start time will hold down the JMU fans some, as students and anyone else from the Harrisonburg area, Richmond area, and Tidewater area would be looking at not getting out of there till 10:30-11, with 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hr drives. Even will effect JMU turnout from Northern VA/DC/surburban MD.

Being televised. This is hurting college football attendance in general. Just about every college alum now a days has a decent sized HD TV with DVR.

I'm predicting about 500-750 JMU fans.

FWIW, Twitter feed of the Harrisonburg Daily News Record beat writer who covers JMU. Yeah he looks like a nerd, but he's in his 2nd season and does a decent job providing good, up to date info on JMU football:

The game is listed as being televised on CSN-MA, which works for all VA and MD folks. \

Also being televised on TCN-P for the Philly & tri state area folks..

Listed as being televised on SNY "joining in progress" at 7:30 after the Mets post game (I don't get SNY with my mid grade Verizon FIOS package).

I could be wrong, but looks like most folks in the tri state Philly area won't be able to watch the game..

Nothing new, all the better excuse to be there. If there isn't a crowd of 20K plus I'll be upset.

And Weaver is honoring past Hofstra and UNH coaches, and all deceased matadors, with his weekly defensive gems.

I still want KCK to drop in via helicopter with a contingent of SWAT and MIB guys.

Bad news for you Cluck, looks doubtful. KC is broadcasting Saturday 3:30pm UConn at Buffalo game on ESPN3.

I was only off by a point. :thumb:

UD opens (-3) as a slight favorite on 5dimes. The line is moving to JMU (currently UD -1), as might be expected when you look at the IMHO really bad FCS polls out there that have JMU top 15 and UD buried in the ORV.

This game is about respect for Dave Brock and the Fighting's.

OK, early season cupcake and FBS bullshit is over. Time to get pumped for CAA action, bitches.

Montana fans. Sorry about 1:19 in the first video. ;) And UNI, SIU, Woff, and Colgate fans. Sorry about the entire second video, the most dominating playoff run in I-AA/FCS history.

JMU injury report

Starters:
DE Sage Harold: Out, ankle vs UNCC
WR De Andre Smith: Questionable, ankle vs Akron, missed last 2 games, Mickey said he might be back for UD.

Backups:
RB Juan Latney: out, knee
RB Jainard Crawley-Lambert: out, thumb injury in Aug, in cast, 4 fumbles lost in 3 games.
WR Arlandis Harvey: In a boot, questionable?

The loss of the 2 backup RBs (Lambert could actually play) shouldn't hurt because as I already mentioned the true Fr RB who had his redshirt pulled last week looked very good.

About as good as one could expect after 4 games, only 1-2 starters and 2-3 backups out. Certainly better than was at this point 2010 & 2011. Unless one of the 4 indispensable players (Birdsong & Scott on offense, Robertson & Marlowe on defense) goes down, no injury excuses for JMU.

What's UD's injury report? Lost a couple of LBs versus Navy, right?

UD is in relatively good shape, absolutely zero on offense.

On defense 2 players out for the season: DT Logan Schultz and S Jake Giusti. LB Jeff Williams out serving game #3 out of a 4 game suspension, LB Kyle Gayle questionable - was injured vs Navy, missed Wagner game.

89Hen also doubtful for this weeks game but he has that status every week :)

Oh, one other thing...UD is really classing up the joint while finally making it into the 20th century.

The Tub now accepts credit cards at the concession stands.

Mind you, the machines are agonizingly slow and actually end up increasing your time in line (more great UD customer service), but it is a step towards joining the rest of the industrialized world.

Another 113 years to go and we might get there.
