The Big South is off to one of it's best seasons ever. 4-1 vs the SoCon, with it's latest win being Gardner-Webb over defending champion Wofford. And, Coastal and CSU both had big wins over MEAC teams, with CCU over Hampton, and CSU over Norfolk State. The BSC has several big wins this season, including Charleston Southern over The Citadel, CCU over SC State and Hampton, Gardner-Webb over Richmond, Furman and Wofford, and others.
This little-brother to the SoCon is really starting to show some teeth. Monmouth and Kennesaw St come in next year, VMI leaves. CCU/Liberty/GWU will still be the power teams in the BSC. Charleston Southern will surprise some folks and be a midway team, and hopefully PC keeps improving. PC was a D2 power in the 90's, and beat FCS teams each year back then, hope they return (just not to beat CSU though
