Ok, we are too small to be considered by ESPN. But I'd guess every game in I-AA is broadcast to the local market. Or at least for the coaches. All we need is a link and a hard drive. The games that are televised must be saved somewhere. They may not have Curt Gowdy calling the game, but I rarely listen to the game. I just want to see how the team did. But if some kid shined broadcasting the UNI game, let him shine. A rare opportunity for a “small school”, give one of the guys in Film&TV a chance to show their talent at broadcasting a Div I-AA team. This seems to be a Win/Win/Win chance. How can anyone lose? All you need is a HD & a portal.
Forget about ESPN. Find a way over the net to share the games. I realize some conferences are trying to copyright their games. For I-AA this is the wrong turn. I-AA should be promoted. Not SoCon, Not BigSky, Not CAA. It should be promoted as I-AA. Shouldn't matter if you're CAA or PFL. The games should be available, the outcome will decide.
Few will be watching the best game on Saturday. They will be watching their home team. But on Sunday they may be watching the best game yesterday. Yes, everyone knows the outcome-but I want to see how well they did, or how he got hurt.
If the Griz overpowed the Fightin' Who, how did they do it? I can read the “Stats” of the game, they don't tell me the great plays either side made. I would like to see that game. There should be a site where every game is available. Preferably free, but for a low cost. It is I-AA. We don't need ESPN, we've the web. We just have to know how to use it.
Forget ESPN

Unfortunately ESPN is a necessary evil.

Yeah, it would be nice to have access to any FCS game all in one place/site. Don't most conferences have free streaming services now? I know you can watch full CAA and Big Sky games on CAA.TV and bigskytv.org. And of course, there's sites like firstrowsports that always have at least one FCS game listed.
CAA.TV (I was able to see all of Rhode Island-Albany for free...haven't really searched to see if all games available)
http://www.caasports.com/mediaPortal/pl ... EM_ID=8500
bigskytv.org (free, just need to create login...has all live and archived games from BSC stadiums unless broadcasting rights are already taken - ie. ESPN broadcasts)
http://www.americaonesports.com/bigsky.asp
If anyone knows more game links from your conferences, please post here.
