Jeff Williams, starting LB, suspended.

David Mackall, his replacement, down on the field.

Ugly early anyone?

At least they held them to three yards on the last play. A moral victory.
Edit: first down on the next play.

Replay show a bad cut on Mackall.

Jiusti down. Now Kyle Gayle.

We need some volunteers from the crowd to play LB. This is bad.

Navy is kneecapping right and left; their normal routine.

Hens have forgotten how to defend the TO.

Will be 14-0 in a couple of more plays.

EDIT: wrong, thankfully

We are picking up yards. Gotta let it all hang out once we get into Navy territory. Brock's cheeks are too tight so far.

Delaware has the ball and is moving. I step away for two minutes and come back to see 17-0 Navy. I think that's enough for me. Off to the beach!

Navy probably interfered on the INT. Brock protested. But you're not going to get any call in Annapolis. I think you've seen us play Navy enough times to know that.

We're completely outcoached and outclassed here anyway.

Anyway, I'm out.

An embarrassing effort for the hens today. Navy looked really good, but their defense is not that good, we moved the ball well in the first half particularly but the two turnovera and fourth down failure at the navy 35 were just killers. Still in the game at halftime, but poor tackling and really piss poor pass coverage allowed the game to get out of hand in the second half. Just need to burn the film of this game and work on our tackling next week before the conference season gets underway against jmu in two weeks. If we don't tackle better we are in for a rough next 9 weeks is all I can say. Pray we can get it together!! GO HENS!!!

At the United States Naval Academy, the recently refurbished Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium combines classic arches with education. Within the arches are large bronze plaques that describe historic battles.

The names of those great battles -- Guadalcanal, Wake Island, Iwo Jima, etc. -- adorn the facade of the stadium. Legend has it that a William & Mary player, upon arriving at the stadium, looked at the names and said, "Man, these guys have a tough schedule!"

Sounds similar to what happened with VU. I noticed in their game against BC that their all CAA jr LB wasn't playing- saw him on sideline with leg brace. Then they lost another starting LB, #33. I'm sure that didn't help in their loss to Fordham...

I understand why Navy does it. Their linemen are never as big as the other team, even FCS, but by golly you need to bring the full medical staff when you play them.

Pretty much every TO team is the same way- Navy, Army, Air Force, GA Tech, VMI, Wofford, GSU....
