”The recall elections in Colorado were defined by the vast array of obstacles that special interests threw in the way of voters for the purpose of reversing the will of the legislature and the people. This was voter suppression, pure and simple.

For the record, recalls should be used for malfeasance and crimes in office, not because some herd of jackals disagrees with their views.

I didn't say she wasn't smart. However, she is a bad representative of the Democrats. There's nothing redeeming about her public speaking abilities, or the blatant contempt she holds for anyone that dares disagree with her. She is a below-average politician pushed to the front of the line because of her gender and district. Kudos to her for getting such a position in the Democratic Party, but that doesn't make up her for her inadequacies when it comes to being a good promoter.

I agree with Cappy here - I dislike recall votes for simple policy or in this case, one vote issues. It's bad enough that politicians are almost constantly running for the next election, but then we complicate it even further by making the next election come even sooner. There's a reason why we have a Democratic Republic and not a pure democracy - pure democracy is messy and not very productive..

Here's who owns the media:
The companies below control about 95% of U.S. Media Information

Clear Channel
Viacom
Time Warner
News Corp
Disney: Fags and Hipsters

3 of the 5 are conservatively based mega corporations

Disgustingly horrible analysis, Chizz. :dunce:

Clear Channel - Conk (but doesn't deserve to be on your list)
Viacom - Overwhelmingly Donk
Time Warner - Overwhelmingly Donk
News Corp - Conk for sure
Disney - Overwhelmingly Donk

And the one you conveniently left off of your 95% analysis:
Comcast NBC Universal which has a 17% market share - Overwhelmingly Donk :tothehand:

4 of the 5 largest media mega corporations serve as the unofficial media wing of the Democrat party. :ohno:
Okay first of all those companies were right off the top of my head...
It's not like a actually give a fuck
So I forgot NBC (NBC / Comcast, same thing)

My point I was intending to make
Which clearly I didn't do a very good job of / was pointing out that there are only TWO opinions

1) Hard Left
2) Hard Right

we have essentially lost the ability to debate the gray area in this country
Because we have only TWO opinions now
controlled by a very small number of companies

Note:
And why wouldn't Clear Channel be on that list..?
They are one of the largest Media companies in the world

Why do the posters from the donkey party in most posts resort to name calling?

Fail. Seven states have codified conditions under which a recall is allowed, the remaining states have no specific conditions: Colorado has none.

There has been an exponential increase in the number of recall elections over the past decade. Voters are no longer willing to passively accept the "tradition" of liberals lying to win the election, then changing spots and voting in laws to increase taxes and strip their constituents of constitutional rights.

Liars are being held accountable... :thumb:

Not surprising that would upset the liberals.

Recall elections are fairly rare and normally happen when elected politicians do something rather egregious. I would say that restricting rights identified in the Bill of Rights is rather egregious. This recall was completely justified.

They are one of the largest Media companies in the world
1. They pale in size to the others.
2. They don't have a news division like the others.

Don't they own like 80% of what plays on the radio (including News only radio stations..?)
How does that not count as Media control..?

However, not a huge point of debate
My point was still:
We get 2 opinions only today (basically black or white) no more gray area debates for America
we've lost our soul

Doesn't Colorado have voter ID? This story has the makings of good entertainment.
