Was Romney Right About Everything?

Post by blueballs »

From Russia to Mali to Detroit, Romney's fans say he's been vindicated.

“I think about the campaign every single day, and what a shame it is who we have in the White House,” said Spencer Zwick, who worked as Romney’s finance director and is a close friend to his family. “I look at things happening and I say, you know what? Mitt was actually right when he talked about Russia, and he was actually right when he talked about how hard it was going to be to implement Obamacare, and he was actually right when he talked about the economy. I think there are a lot of everyday Americans who are now feeling the effects of what [Romney] said was going to happen, unfortunately.”

Of course not... it is an op/ed... it doesn't make anything contained in the piece less accurate though.

Perhaps he learned from the passing and implementation of a similar plan on a state level.... He would know first hand the foibles associated with it.

Also, anybody that spawned that many kids and grandkids doesn't have magic underwear... the magic is in the underwear.

I know that was one of the constant talking points from the Dems during the campaign, but they really aren't the same.

Isn't Obamacare based on the same principles of Romney-care?

At least Romney was upfront about it, unlike Obama, who just uses it to his political advantage. Some consistency would be nice for a change. There's that word again...

Romney might not have been right about everything, but Obama is wrong about pretty much everything.

FLASHBACK: Biden accused Romney of wanting war with Syria

Sept. 2, 2012, YORK, Pa. (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden said Sunday that Republican rival Mitt Romney is “ready to go to war in Syria and Iran” while hurting the middle class.

The warning came during a campaign stop in York, Pa., designed to promote President Barack Obama’s economic policies among white, working-class voters. The thrust of Biden’s pitch has been that America is digging out from the 2008 economic collapse and that Romney would take the country backward. But Biden, a foreign policy heavyweight, also cautioned voters that Romney would adopt policies that favor confrontation over cooperation.

True, the fact that Romney lost to Obama doesn't reflect well on him. We still most likely would have been better off with Romney. He might have been a greedy charlatan but at least he was a proven competent administrator.

Now the thought of McCain being President and going through the crises in Libya, Egypt and Syria is truly frightening. He might have gone all war games and started a global thermo nuclear war.

0bama got the most votes of any candidate to ever run in a national election in 2012. There are a LOT of people out there who are single issue voters who voted for 0bama because of race, to expand their government handouts, gay "rights," etc. Many of those people ONLY voted for 0bama, in other words they don't participate in any other elections and have no further knowledge or interest in politics. Romney had absolutely no chance at those votes whatsoever.

It turns out the "47%" comment the liberal media skewered him on was absolutely correct too. If you look at Rasmussen or Gallop 0bama's combined poll #'s (strongly approve+ approve + somewhat approve) never drop below 47%, regardless of how inept he continues to prove to be.
