Ha. Legal, not illegal. Mea culpa on the typo, but you should have been able to figure out what I was saying.houndawg wrote:Oh Jeeezus.89Hen wrote: You don't really believe that making pot illegal will cut out smugglers, do you? That's a very naive stance IMO.![]()
Let me help you here: Pot is already illegal and yes there are lots of smugglers. You need to spend some time toking with your kids and letting them coach you up.![]()

There isn't anybody else to worry about, 89 Clueless; everybody who wants to smoke already does. There is not a pent-up demand 0f potential customers just waiting for the stuff to become legal before they start having a puff. Good grief, son, how do you manage to stay so out of touch?89Hen wrote:My original comment was not related to dependence on the industry... YOU made that comment. My point is that it's comical that many of you believe this will just be happy little pot smokers who now enjoy being able grow and smoke an ounce without the fear of being criminals. Why are you worried? We've already established pot as a much safer alternative to alcohol. Growth here would be a good thing, especially for abused women and other victims of violent crime.
Don't worry about your kids either. They're better off smoking pot than drinking alcohol. Think of the all the date rapes and full on sexual assaults that would be eliminate if alcohol was out of the picture?
Keep trying, Hen, we're here for you.

Tell me where the profit in smuggling comes from when we already grow better stuff inside our borders and making it legal reduces the price.89Hen wrote:Ha. Legal, not illegal. Mea culpa on the typo, but you should have been able to figure out what I was saying.houndawg wrote:

Pure speculation on your part. If you honestly don't think that there are a bunch of folks who don't smoke pot because it's illegal you are full of shit or stupid. Take your pick.houndawg wrote:There isn't anybody else to worry about, 89 Clueless; everybody who wants to smoke already does. Oh that's right. When we see studies on negative effects of pot, those are being produced by the evil empire and can't be trusted.D1B wrote:...and people don't get addicted to it, like cocaine and alcohol.houndawg wrote:

Let me suggest something, try pot, then come back. You're embarrassing yourself.

Research has already established the negative effects of pot pale in comparison to alcohol and other drugs. Just ask your son.

You surrendered 2 pages ago. You actually have to be in the fight to accept a surrender.89Hen wrote:I accept your surrender. When you have to smoke pot to understand your arguements, I've won. See you on the next thread.D1B wrote:
