Hitting a different game. My youngest son is a big Oregon fan and they just don't come East very often so I'm making my first ever trip to Charlottesville to watch the Ducks stomp UVA.
Great place, nice stadium... too bad the team stinks. :x I think you'll find the town/campus are very similar to UD/Newark. Parking is a bitch though. If you don't have a pass, they will probably steer you to the JPJ Arena which is a nice hike to the stadium. We forget how spoiled we are at Hen games.

I've only been through Charlottesville once but the campus does look a helluva lot like UD.

I think it is - I'm pretty sure the e-mail said any UDAF member.
I'm left with them impression from what I've looked at that you can give them much smaller amounts and be considered a member of the UDAF. The UDAF website doesn't say anything about a minimum gift, and neither does the actual donation page.

I think that's where we planned on parking.

Just got an email with some more details:
Craft Beers of Delaware - Two Delaware Beer Gardens will now be open inside Delaware Stadium. They will sell Delaware beers from Dogfish Head Brewery and 16 Mile Brewery. Access to the Gardens will be exclusively for UDAF Donors, Premium Box Seat Holders and Delaware Diamonds Society (DDS) members. At the game, UDAF members will need to check in at the Beer Garden to receive a season pass; Box Holders will show their game ticket for access; and DDS members will show their membership card. Dear Blue Hens,

We hope to see you all in attendance on Thursday evening as we begin a new era of Delaware Football. To make sure that you are ready for the game on Thursday, we want to provide you with updates below on enhancements related to your fan experience.

SINGLE GAME PARKING NOTES - Due to enhancements from construction around the stadium, The Woods Lot, located off of Route 4 will be used as staff parking. PLEASE NOTE THAT PATRON PARKING IN THIS LOT WILL BE LIMITED TO TWO HOURS BEFORE KICKOFF, AND BASED ON AVAILABILITY. This is a change from last year and applies ONLY to the Woods Parking Lot. For a full parking map please visit bluehens.com.

NEW FOR 2013!

Upgrades for Box Seat Holders - This year, the seating arrangements in the boxes in Delaware Stadium have been converted to bench-style seating to improve fan comfort and enhance the appearance of the Stadium. The blue benches will include a supportive back. This addition was shared with box holders earlier in the summer, but a small number of box seats remain available and anyone interested in upgrading should call the ticket office at 302 831-2257.

Delaware Diamond Bob Carpenter Club Entrance - For the ongoing safety and security of our student-athletes, coaching staff, game-day personnel and fans, DDS members will now access the Bob Carpenter Club using the front main entrance of the Bob Carpenter Center (BCC) that faces South College Avenue of the BCC. The front doors will be open ninety minutes before games for DDS members and their guests.

A NEW Tradition - We invite you to come out and greet members of the Blue Hen football squad during pre-game as they march down Stadium Drive escorted by the Delaware Marching Band, Cheerleaders, and Spirit Groups to the locker room. The walk will begin approximately two and one-half hours before kickoff each game. Also, postgame the team, along with the band will perform the Alma Mater to the Student Section.

Fan Zone - The Fan Zone, featuring live music pre game and family fun, opens two hours prior to kickoff and has been relocated to the parking area adjacent to Hospitality Village. The opener on 8/29 will feature entertainment by Radio Disney.

Montana State is looking into allowing beer sales in the stadium starting next year. Only catch is when you leave you can't get back in, not even at halftime. At least that is what they are throwing around.

Yeah. UD banned kegs in the parking lot right around my senior year. Then they banned re-entry.

That took a lot of fun out of the stadium. The crowd was always gone for the first half of the third quarter, but they came back lubed up and loud!

Those were the days.
