I've only been through Charlottesville once but the campus does look a helluva lot like UD.89Hen wrote:Great place, nice stadium... too bad the team stinks.bluehenbillk wrote:

Parking is a bitch though. If you don't have a pass, they will probably steer you to the JPJ Arena which is a nice hike to the stadium. We forget how spoiled we are at Hen games.

I'm left with them impression from what I've looked at that you can give them much smaller amounts and be considered a member of the UDAF. The UDAF website doesn't say anything about a minimum gift, and neither does the actual donation page.GannonFan wrote:I think it is - I'm pretty sure the e-mail said any UDAF member.89Hen wrote: You are a "contributor" at $100, but I don't know if that level gets you in.

I think that's where we planned on parking.89Hen wrote:Great place, nice stadium... too bad the team stinks.bluehenbillk wrote:

Re: Delaware announces in stadium Beer sales
Just got an email with some more details:
Full email for any UD fans headed to the game:Craft Beers of Delaware - Two Delaware Beer Gardens will now be open inside Delaware Stadium. They will sell Delaware beers from Dogfish Head Brewery and 16 Mile Brewery. Access to the Gardens will be exclusively for UDAF Donors, Premium Box Seat Holders and Delaware Diamonds Society (DDS) members. At the game, UDAF members will need to check in at the Beer Garden to receive a season pass; Box Holders will show their game ticket for access; and DDS members will show their membership card. Beers will be limited to two per person (at time of purchase) and can be brought to your seats. Sales will end at the start of the fourth quarter.

Montana State is looking into allowing beer sales in the stadium starting next year. Only catch is when you leave you can't get back in, not even at halftime. At least that is what they are throwing around.

Yeah. UD banned kegs in the parking lot right around my senior year. Then they banned re-entry.canyoncat wrote:Montana State is looking into allowing beer sales in the stadium starting next year. That took a lot of fun out of the stadium. The crowd was always gone for the first half of the third quarter, but they came back lubed up and loud!
Those were the days.
