No, you're still wrong. We're talking bout vacations. POTUSes on vacations pay = to 1 1st Class ticket per family member.
Did you even READ what I posted? Obviously, you didn't.

:ohno:

BDPSHT is like those WW2 Japanese soldiers that kept turning up on remote Pacific islands during the 80s refusing to believe the emperor was dead. :coffee:

Bush: I quit golf over Iraq war
(AFP) – May 13, 2008
WASHINGTON (AFP) — US President George W. Bush said in an interview out Tuesday that he quit playing golf in 2003 out of respect for the families of US soldiers killed in the conflict in Iraq, now in its sixth year.

"I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal," he said in an interview for Yahoo! News and Politico magazine.

"I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander-in-chief playing golf," he said. "I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them."

The US president traced his decision to the August 19, 2003 bombing of UN headquarters in Baghdad, which killed the world body's top official in Iraq, Sergio Vieira de Mello.

"I remember when de Mello, who was at the UN, got killed in Baghdad as a result of these murderers taking this good man's life. And I was playing golf -- I think I was in central Texas -- and they pulled me off the golf course and I said, it's just not worth it anymore to do," said Bush.

Bush's last round of golf as president dates back to October 13, 2003, according to meticulous records kept by CBS news.

On the day of the bombing two months earlier, he had cut short his golf game at the 12th hole and returned to his ranch in tiny Crawford, Texas.

Yes, but Obama has been a bitter pill for almost everyone to swallow.

At one point, didn't Bush stop vacationing at Crawford? I thought I read that he opted for Camp David.
Bush spent 487 days at Camp David during his presidency and 490 days at his Crawford, Texas ranch, a total of 977 days

Still, it doesn't concern me. The POTUS is never off duty. He's not pulling a Mark Sanford.

Dunno, but I really don't have a problem with any president's schedule. Clinton didn't take many vacation days, but he played more golf than Bush and Obama combined. Whatever. NONE of us have even the smallest notion on how taxing that job is. There's not a harder job in the world IMO.

Image

That said, Obama claimed to be different. He ran on a platform of change, hope and transparency... he is more of the same and I really don't think he cares what people think of him because enough of this country loves him no matter what he does.

POTUS is the most stressful, thankless job. Let them relax. Like I said, they're never off duty.

Obama is more of the same. I do think he's more arrogant than any president we've had in a long time.

I don't have to. Rahm Emanual and other former administration officials have said in many interviews that Obama is arrogant.
