Thanks Gil for showing that it was a South Carolina woman (and most likely a Republican) that alerted this scumbag to the authorities.

Don't think so, Ibashithead. Conks don't work in animal protection and rescue.

Yes, they do. I can't tell you how many people I meet with anti-Obama stickers and such on their trucks and cars when we go rescue animals from backyard breeders or abandoned homes.

Then again, you are omniscient. How am I a shithead? You know, for a liberal, you are pretty close-minded.

Lets get back on topic #2
Q: What is the value of a dog?

Do they experience suffering and does that matter
Do they deserve our respect at some level and if so why

How we answer these questions says a lot about who we are as overseers of this planet
Q: Name something that offends Republicans?
A: The actual teachings of Jesus

If they had no value, nobody would own them. That said, people treat dogs very differently depending on their use. Some people use dogs as pets, some as aids, some as hunting assistants. You have to raise them differently. I know if people who pamper their dogs with frequent trips to the groomers and who feed them gourmet food saw how you actually raise some hunting dogs, they'd be appalled. Doesn't mean that a hunter who keeps his dogs in a pen values his dog any less than a person who lets their dog sleep in bed with them.

Agreed
And it doesn't mean that those hunting dogs are "less happy" or do not experience fulfilling lives

Now back to the point.....neither hunter nor middle-aged spinster dog spoiler would transport a dog like that.

A conk would though.

No I don't nor do I pretend to. I know enough to know that your gross generalizations about everything are 100% wrong.

Dogs have value to those whom place value on them. They are living, breathing beings that can feel and express fear, pain, joy, and other qualities that people like JSO try to reserve only for humans. We are the protectors of this planet due to our dominance and we are doing a piss poor job.

Brush up on your Bible shenanigans you'll see that:
Corinthian says that whatever has a body also has a soul
But since Christians don't read the bible they seem to go with Matthew
who dismissed animal souls and disregarded Corinthian

So in one New Testament book animals have souls
and in another New Testament book they don't
Such are the Shenanigans of the Bible

Never made it that far, I'm still struggling with virgins having babies and dead people leaving their tomb and flying upm into the sky.

Which brings up an interesting point: since Jesus bodily ascended up to heaven, he had mass, and having mass was constrained by the speed of light which puts 2,000 light years as the absolute maximum distance he could have traveled by now and probably a great deal less since as he approaches the speed of light his mass increases, requiring ever more energy to propel his increasing mass. So he hasn't even left our spiral arm of this galaxy yet and as our technology has advanced to the point where we can now find planets around stars we shouldn't be too far from the time when we'll have the resolution to pick him out on his way to heaven. :ugeek:

Right, John? :thumb:
