UAlbany's Bob Ford to retire

Post by danefan »

News reports indicating that he will announce today his retirement at the end of is year.

Long expected by most of us. He's been there since 1970 and is the winningest active Coach in Division I.

Great man who has done way more than just win football games.

Well that's stretching the truth as most of his wins are D-3....

Not stretching the truth at all. He as the most wins of any Coach coaching in Division I right now. Look at the NCAA record books.

Not that it matters. Even if you were to ask him, he would say - That's what happens when you stick around 40+ years.

So, getting Albany into the CAA was his swan song?

The stadium being built is really his swan song.

I think they had to convince him to stay this year. Its going to be a tough one to go out on for him.

Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Thank you for your attention to this matter - UNI88
