I know we're still a couple of weeks out, but I'm just trying to figure out the UM gameday experience for a night game.

What's the tailgating protocol? Bar(s) downtown first, then head to the stadium? We're staying downtown, should we try to get a parking spot near the stadium or just leave the car and walk over with a disposable cooler? We'd be happy to kick in some bucks if someone has extra cooler room and a space near Wa-Griz.

You will have at least a few tailgates to hit and I don't see any reason you'd need to bring a cooler. Walk to the stadium or take one of the bar buses. Even for early games the bars have some good action prior to the tailgates so you can do either/or. There will be Thurs. night and Fri. night gatherings to sort all details out.

Give a call and I'll guide you into town from the outskirts as you did for us last year in Greenville.

Dude.

You walk around with a portable disposable cooler and you'll look like king DORK. Just go, take advantage of the Western hospitality, enjoy the assbeating the Griz will put on your 'Neers, and go home hungover.

I tried to say it as nicely as possible but I had the same thought about the cooler...do not bring any of those styro coolers, old wooden outhouses, trapping gear, beat up banjo's, etc. with you.

Buy a decent set of shoes and put on some of the most untattered pant/shirt combos you have and call it good.

I'm going to Fedex my 9x9 tent, my grill, and my rolling cooler to your house Ursus. If your boys will go ahead and set it up we should be there around 12-2 pm. :coffee:

This is one of the top OOC games for I-AA. Topped only by EWU@SHSU. As a Bobcat/I-AA fan I could not miss it. I've a ticket, will be there. And I will be cheering for the Griz. For any who journey out, Mt has much to offer. More than the Missoula Valley. It's a long weekend. Take time to enjoy, then please leave. I don't want humans outnumbering livestock.

EWU/SHSU won't have the history, the pagentry, the crowd, the tailgating, the atmosphere, the national exposure or the talent that this game will have.

This is THE marquee I-AA matchup this year. Right out of the box.

Check out some of the football camp videos for App coming out daily. I'm always skeptical about preseason prognostications, but it sounds like we have a pretty solid team headed to Missoula. Should be a great game.

Yep. I'm thinking another 35-27 ( :x ) type-game like last year, or maybe even higher.
