Having lived in Maryland
and presently working for a company based in Baltimore
I can assure you Maryland is not the coolest at anything / anywhere / ever

I never had any problems with OC, other than the fact that there are five other ocean towns closer to me and they don't have sales tax.

BTW, your "50 mile" limit made me think. I consider the EC to be closer to 200 miles to include at least some of the Appy Mountains, all of Florida, most of Vermont, eastern PA, etc.

Yes, I too recall a much sharper Cleets in a bygone era. Perhaps he will resharpen his game in time. Maybe he saves his good stuff for the "other" site. I don't go over there enough to notice.

There are certainly places in there I would agree to tag with that, but there are too many places that are heaven mixed in.

Everything between DC and Boston is really on a micro scale compared to west of the Mississippi. Heck, just driving on the Main Line east from Villanova, you can go from old money mansions to the worst West Philly ghettos in a ten minute drive.

There's no denying that the scenery on a drive from DC to Boston on I-95/NJTP is not good and the traffic might make you commit suicide before you got to your destination. But get off 95 for five minutes in either direction and you can see a lot that you never knew existed.

And the whole Chesapeake/Delmarva region (my home turf) is so much different than the I-95 corridor. Thank God.
