I'd guess some very competent people on this website have sexted and/or done something sexually over the internet. I'd also wager that as Millennials begin to gain political power, we're probably gonna see more explicit type of stuff dug up (especially from their past)...perhaps to the point where it's not really a big deal anymore (because it's not really a big deal among my generation).

I'm not sure what you mean by "eliminating colors and genders" but I'm not concerned at all. Nothing he has done as negatively impacted me at all. NYC is a much better place since be took office. I liked Guiliani as well. Bloomberg pushed it over the finish line.

Of course it isn't. Aren't you still in or recently out of college? People have always done stupid things as teens and college students that teens and college students thought was no big deal to "my generation". Example: Like getting drunk, skirt chasing, getting into fights, raising hell. Then they grew up and realized these things are looked upon completely differently when a 40 or 50 some yr old adult does it. The internet doesn't change that. As far as politics are concerned, people in general won't care as much, or put nearly as much weight to a "youthful indiscretion" as someone middle aged doing it. That's always been the case, and always will be.

Here's my thought process. Sanford isn't human. We all make mistakes and we all have weaknesses. He allowed his to control him while he was in a position of power. Yes, the underlying fact of his affair bothered my but I was more angry over his abandonment of South Carolina. Both showed poor judgement and I was one of the many that wanted him to resign. I campaigned against him earlier this year. I don't trust him at all. I haven't trusted him ever since I met him in 1999.
