Thank you Wind Power

Post by HI54UNI »

Today we are setting a high electrical use peak for the year (so far). Just had to turn on a natural gas combustion turbine because our wonderful wind power is producing 0.00 kWhs of electricity right now.

Hope you like black outs on hot days after the chosen one kills coal. :ohno:

Does anyone here play SimCity? Just curious 'cause I'd love to see types of cities we'd all come up with. If anyone is ever up for a multi-player game, I can create the server and invite you guys.

"Bird killers" works too! But because they don't spew CO2 into the air a few dead birds and bats are OK. :ohno:

I used to play it occasionally years ago when I was an aspiring city manager.

If they put some big fans out to blow the windmills they would produce more electricity.

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Why does the left hate eagles?
The wind sector has had an exemption from prosecution under two of America’s oldest wildlife-protection laws: the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and the Eagle Protection Act. A violation of either law could result in a fine up to $250,000 or two years imprisonment...

“How does an industry kill more than 2,000 eagles and not be fined once?” Johns said.
...
in central California, 70 golden eagles were killed by wind turbines at Altamont Pass, without prosecution. The findings follow a 2008 study by the Fish and Wildlife Service that estimates wind farms kill nearly a half million birds per year in the United States.

We're still trying to get the extreme lefties to let go of their irrational hatred of nuclear power. Luckily we'll have tremendous quantities of natural gas for the next century since the left didn't see fracking coming and that's already too far along for them to squash it. Maybe in the next few decades the Luddites who still think of 3-mile island when it comes to nuclear power will be gone and we can legitimately turn to that as a power source.

WD-40 is the last thing I would use to loosen anything or make something move easier.
