CNN Broadcasts Zimmerman Social Security Number

by Ben Shapiro 1 Jul 2013, 12:02 PM PDT
On Monday, CNN showed George Zimmerman’s Social Security number and other personal information live over the air, including address, date of birth, and phone number.
Officer Doris Singleton was testifying when the prosecutors showed a narrative report including Zimmerman’s information.

That immediately launched a round of tweets by Zimmerman haters celebrating knowledge of that information.

This is hardly the first time Zimmerman’s personal information has been distributed by those who oppose him. During the initial coverage of the Zimmerman trial, Spike Lee retweeted the home address of what he thought was Zimmerman’s home address. It turned out to be the wrong address. Roseanne Barr then tweeted Zimmerman’s parents’ home address. “If Zimmerman isn't arrested I'll rt his address again. maybe go 2 his house myself,” Barr tweeted.

This isn't the first element of media bias in the Zimmerman case, either. The Associated Press originally reported that Zimmerman was white. That falsehood was repeated for days by the media, heightening the racial aspect of the case.

The media also broadcast photographs of Zimmerman from a 2005 arrest rather than current photos, and conversely broadcast photographs of Martin as a pre-teen, not the 17-year-old he was at the time of the killing (the media's photographic choices actually impacted witness testimony during the trial).
NBC News manipulated tape of Zimmerman's 911 call to make it seem that Zimmerman had targeted Martin because he was black, rather than responding to 911 dispatcher questions. CNN also isolated audio of Zimmerman purportedly calling Martin a racial slur during the call -- an allegation that ended up being completely false.

Both ABC News and NBC News also alleged that Zimmerman's injuries did not exist, releasing badly-pixellated photographs from the night of the incident. As trial testimony has shown, Zimmerman was indeed injured during the incident with Martin.
He better get Lifelock....

What about the restraining order that was granted? You'd think a good lawyer would find a way to bring up the kid's violent history.. :?
Don't know enough if that would be admissible or not but I am sure if it is questionable that it was debated and judge ruled on it before the trial started.

Seems odd that in a 2nd degree murder trial the perp's history of violently resisting a police officer and domestic battery that resulted in a restraining order being granted wouldn't be admissible.

Odd indeed. :coffee: Seems odd that in a self-defense trial, where a victim defended himself against a vicious attack from a teen, the teen's previous violent acts and erratic behavior (getting suspended from school, videos of someone getting beat up on his cell phone) aren't allowed to be admissible.

Z-man should walk.

Oh, and since a kid just got arrested for Facebooking a joke about shooting up a school, all of the clowns who posted that they were going to kill Zimmerman, and/or any whites, should be going to jail. Obama and Holder should get the NSA and DOJ on those "terrorists" right away.

The resisting arrest charges were dropped. That is the reason it cannot be admissible.

The domestic one is what I am not sure about admissibility but there were no criminal charges from what I understand and he also got a restraining order against her.

They should also be admissible, especially since its a physical fact that the brains of teenage males aren't fully developed at that age and the part that isn't developed is the part governing judgement. Same problem you have, Cuck, a dumbass that don't know when to shut up.

Awwww....houndawg has his panties in a bunch. You have a hard on for Zim because he reminds you of all the smarter kids that you were never able to bully. And Zim is a real man...no #8 bb sized crap for him. POW! Problem solved and no witnesses. Probably sends shivers down your spine. :thumb:

Say, since you brought up the subject...fully developed brains are not usually found in union members either...bunch of unoriginal, untalented wimps who are afraid of competition and who need to find safety in numbers because they can't match wits with their superiors. Cripes, union fools give money to a bunch of fat, overpaid, inbred, well-paid union bosses who "negotiate" deals for the masses.

Gotta' hand it to you puppy, you keep getting schooled and coming back for more. Maybe you can form a union of dopes and pay someone on here to explain things to you. I nominate Cappy as your union boss...he certainly has the physical profile...and he has the brains. He'll bluster about and make noise, impressing you, while he laughs behind your back and uses your funds to support his sex toy fetish. :thumb:

In the meantime, I'm going to give you a pet name. ToyB!tch is a good start...but you're probably used to that. Check in later...we'll figure out your new dog tag. :thumb:

At one point during his interview with Zimmerman, Serino bluffed that he may have video of the incident shot on Martin’s cellphone.

"I believe [Zimmerman’s] words were, 'Thank God, I was hoping somebody would videotape it,'" said Serino. "Either he was telling the truth or he was a complete pathological liar. One of the two."

Serino says nothing indicated to him that Zimmerman was a liar.

"You think he was telling the truth?" asked O'Mara.

"Yes," said Serino

The prosecution actually did a pretty good job this morning of villifying Zimmerman for the first time, IMHO. They really harped on his statements "those assholes always get away" and "f'ing punks". It was one of their few moments of success. Otherwise, the defense is still kicking ass. Zimmerman's and all witness accounts of what happened have been remarkably consistent throughout. If he was lying, it would have been exposed by now, so it all really gets down to whether or not you have a right to defend yourself when you think somebody else is going to kill you.

We think it's kicking ass. It really matters what the jury sees. Remember, this state found Casey Anthony not guilty. :coffee:

Another new nugget from a few minutes ago: The Chief Medical Examiner said that the injuries on the back of Zimmerman's head are not consistent with having your head slammed against concrete repeatedly.

Looks like the prosecution is landing a few punches today.

Serino also testified that the medical examiner's report supported Zimmerman's claim that Trayvon was on top of him when Zimmerman shot him.

Not sure 93 is disagreeing with that. He was just saying that after a number of days which were fully in Defendant's favor, finally the prosecution has some stuff that is going its way. Not saying there isn't any contradictory evidence to it but at least the prosecution is doing its job today and getting some thing going its way.

Not really surprised by this, even though Zim has scalp wounds on the back of his head. It isn't that easy to slam somebody's head on the ground when they're conscious and defending their self, especially when the guy doesn't have any hair to grab hold of. If Martin were standing over Zim in the MMA position and had both hands on Zim's head his nuts were wide open. Now if Zim were unconscious it would make more sense. In fact if you assume the MMA position you will see that you really don't have a great deal of leverage in that position for head banging. Makes more sense that Zim got knocked on his ass and Martin was punching him up so he pulled his gun.

If Zim would have shot him in the knee he could have kicked the shit out of Martin at his leisure til the cops got there and this would just be two punks in a street fight.
