Re: Breaking NEWS: Patriots sign Tebow
Not that anyone likes for ANY position (much less the QB position) to come open via injury, but that's exactly how Brady got it. It could happen again. Neither guy will beat him out, but I'm confident that Tebow WILL beat out Mallet for the #2 spot. Brady COULD, however, be in the same unfortunate position Bledsoe (not to mention Wally Pipp in New York) was if Tebow gets hold of the starting job THAT way....
What the Patriots (and Mallet) decide to do about that is anyone's guess, however.

Is he going as a QB or has he swallowed his pride and decided to try to make it as. Re: Breaking NEWS: Patriots sign Tebow
The article I read indicates that Tebow is there as either the second or third QB. Another QB was released despite the fact that they were one player below the limit.Ibanez wrote:Is he going as a QB or has he swallowed his pride and decided to try to make it as. Re: Breaking NEWS: Patriots sign Tebow
So when a real talent with scary tattoos replaces a perennial game manager and takes the offense to a whole new level (not to mention the Super Bowl), it's a grave injustice of the sport, but if Jesus McNotalent gets the nod in the exact same way over one of the greatest QBs of all time, it's just "unfortunate"?SuperHornet wrote:Not that anyone likes for ANY position (much less the QB position) to come open via injury, but that's exactly how Brady got it. Re: Breaking NEWS: Patriots sign Tebow
Did I say that I LIKE it happening that way, mman? Quit putting words in my mouth. I only mentioned the possibility. The Patriots would be stupid to give the keys to the offense to ANYBODY other than Brady outside of injury or retirement right now.

Good thing it won't because Tebow won't even sniff that 2nd string QB spot. Hello again, Mr. Situational-Wildcat.

Teblow will be wearing a headset and carrying a clipboard as his normal gameday duties for quite a while.

What if Tebow beats out Brady fair and square.....wins 4 super bowls in a row and has Belichicks first granddaughter?
Then will you guys finally admit God sent Tebow to save the world and very possibly fu*k the hypocrisy out of Amy Grant once and for all?

Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2But we all know Tebow won't beat out Brady. Tebow will be used as a TE or something. Aren't the Patriots known for using QB's in other positions?

Tupa was a great punter very very underrated. Much better than Danny White or Amy Grant.

Eventually, all the negativity got him shipped to New York City, and that was a whole other story. He came to Manhattan pregnant with hope, but destined for an abortion.
