Very good odds again. An AR-15 weighs 7 lbs. Lanza fired off 154 rounds. That's six magazines; a very light load. Six magazines is considered a very light patrol load in the military. You could fit three magazines in each of the cargo pockets on a pair of pants if you were so inclined. The official report said he had 10 mags. Again, a very light load. Regarding hit ratio, I posted a video in the gun a month thread a few weeks ago of me shooting a dozen or so cans of soda with my AR-15 from 25 yards. Hit ratio? 100%. If you'd like, I can do another video for you tomorrow of me hitting 100% at 50 yards. Lanza was probably within 10 yards or less of all his victims, and a kid is slightly larger than a soda can I think.

Very good odds again. 5.56 doesn't boom like a magnum round or even a 7.62/.308. It's a very manageable round, which is the whole reason our military left the 7.62mm round for service rifles behind in the 60s. An infantry unit can carry way more 5.56 mm.

My oldest son has Asperger Syndrome. He is a brilliant kid. He's challenged in the areas of fine motor skills and gauging social cues from other people. I see no reason why he won't be independent enough to attend college and live a normal life. I suspect Lanza's full story will never be known. If I had to guess, like you seem to enjoy doing, I'd bet Lanza was picked on incessantly at school for being "weird". I'd bet he had no game with girls and no real friends. I'd bet he hated school and couldn't get out fast enough. I'd bet his mom was more interested in spending the huge money she was receiving from her ex than giving a damn about her son and he resented her for it. I'd bet he resented his parents for divorcing. I'd bet he felt absolutely alone and wanted (in his mind) some form of attention/notoriety/revenge.
