That's pretty good. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: I think Coastal vs. Liberty could go either way. Also, sometimes CSU surprises us and does well against The Citadel. It's hard to tell with the new coach but you boys might have a good shot.

Coastal
Aug 31 at SCSU W
Sep 7 FUR W
Sep 14 at EKU L
Sep 21 HAMP W (Toss up)
Sep 28 at Elon W
Oct 5 - BYE
Oct 12 GARD WEBB W (Toss up)
Oct 19 at Lib L (Toss up)
Oct 26 VMI W
Nov 2 CHAR W
Nov 9 at CSU W
Nov 16 PC W

I say we go 9-3.

Thanks. If CCU can knock off either EKU or (longshot) South Carolina, the Big South could be a two bid league. I have Liberty as a loss for you guys because the chants have not played well at Liberty. Even in 2005, they beat a 1-7 (at the time) Flames team, and they needed 3 OTs to do it. Liberty has blown CCU out of Williams Stadium on their last two trips, including going up 42-0 two years ago on the way to a 63-27 rout (largest margin for either side in the series). If Ross can do what Richardson, MacDowall and Hillary couldnt do, and that is play well in his first start at Liberty, they may pull off the win.

Pretty accurate. The only definitive change I would make is the Presbyterian game. I believe that should be a W for CSU.

Hoping for a solid showing against The Citadel. Could shock the Dogs.

Could be a W against Coastal. It isn't until November, anything can happen.

If you follow my posts about Gardner-Webb, you know I am eternally optimistic about our team's chances pre-season. Unfortunately, we are bringing in our third coaching staff in 4 years and this makes it very difficult to have a positive outlook. However, I am boneheaded enough that I actually do remain optimistic. GWU goes from having no one on our coaching staff last year with any experience coaching or playing O-Line to having three very capable coaches who have both played and coached O-Line. We do have very good O-Line talent in place but we have also graduated 3 very good O-Linemen [Sargent, Dunaway and Demilio].

I have been very favorably impressed with new HC McCray. Unlike his predecessor, he believes it is important to earn the respect of his players and he has worked hard to do that. He also allows his coaches to coach without interference, something his predecessor could not allow himself to do. He also has a cohesive staff - most of whom have worked together for at least a year already at N. Greenville before heading to Boiling Springs. These three factors give me a lot of positive vibes for GWU's 2013 season. Starting the year against Furman, Marshall, Richmond and Wofford would be tough for most I-AA programs and it will be tough for us. I can't wait for it to begin.

Go Runnin' Bulldogs!

Man you guys are bogarting the shit out of that joint.

El Cid is going to stomp a mud hole in CSU.

BTW I like the predictions of everybody including PC beating Charlotte. I hope it goes that way too.

Only on a fluke does CSU beat El CID.

As for Presby, I'm being an optimist for a conference teammate. It'd be embarrassing if UNCC won.

CSU I dont have a ton of confidence in going into conference play, PC and VMI have experience coming back, but the Roos tend to have trouble getting out of their own way (referring mostly to turnovers), and Liberty and CCU pretty much can be chalked up as number 1 and number 2 before fall camp even starts, and Gardner-Webb having another coaching upheaval.

I think that 3-5 could be pretty open between PC, VMI and CSU but do not be shocked if those three are well back of Liberty and Coastal once the season is over
