I will relate one true story you won't read about Bush. Not sure if you have seen Farenheit 9-11 or not, but the family that was in their burying a love one at Arlington was the Stone family from Boise. (Moore is a real piece of shit but a topic for a different discussion.) I know the family through a mutual friend that lives there and taught/mentored the son. They were brought to the white house when they were in DC to visit with Bush (before that stupid film). He met with the mother and son and sent all the aids and secret service away and spent a lot of time with them one on one, just them. They visited for over an hour and they believe he cared and took it personally.

I can't say if Obama has ever done anything like this or not because our beloved media won't report stuff like this. My problem with Obama on this subject is, he just doesn't come across as giving two shits in the wind about the military and doesn't even pretend to.

No. Any soldier, civil officer, etc.. that died doing their duty during his administration. If 3 hikers are killed in Ecuador, Obama should make the call as well.

That is not what Bluebaldy is advocating - he wants a call from Obama (didn't care that Bush didn't do it) to every veteran that ever dies. At least that is what his picture is advocating.

What makes me shake my head about this the most....among many things to shake my head about...is the idea that this guy showed "courage" by doing this. Not at all. The brainwashing effort has been successful and it was clear that he could expect many pats on the back because anybody that does anything other than pat him on the back is going to be attacked. And there will be plenty of clamoring to get to the front of the line in congratulating him among those who wish to show how "enlightened" they are.

All you have to do to see what might happen to anyone who had anything negative to say about it is look at how quickly Miami Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace had to recant after tweeting, ""All these beautiful women in the world and guys wanna mess with other guys SMH..." And notice how the writer refers to what Wallace tweeted as "intolerance."

Right. The intolerance associated with this issue is the practice of the egalitarian dogma. No deviation is tolerated; as Wallace quickly learned. Never mind that the Collins is obviously "off." Say so at your own peril.

Actuallly, it is a good thing. That's one less white chick taken (well, actually a lot more than that over the course of an average career, but I was referring to a long term relationship or marriage) by a black athlete.

Not that I care...I am happily married and a one woman guy. But I am here rooting for my fellow man...at least some of them, anyway, the ones with MENSA capabilities and those who like a good microbrewed IPA, including my son (well, he'll like then when he gets older). There better be some white girls left when he gets older.

Not that he would have to choose a white woman...but there better be some of them left at the smorgasbord when he gets interested in them. Otherwise, those racist (against white men) white girls can go on dal's list of people that probably shorten their lives and the lives of others due to their racist behaviors.

Of course, if my son turns out to be gay, I also want to reserve the right for him to have white men available, or at least some Asian guys, so that he doesn't get his 2-hole ripped apart too badly.

So, yeah, one has to think of these things in order to put an announcement such as Jason's into the proper perspective. Most people don't do the careful analyzation that I do. I am not just a flash card type of guy...bring on the details.
