Kelly said he would design the offense to fit the players. Hell of a bargain, I think Barkely is going to be a good NFL QB.

I was hoping he would fall two more picks to the Dolphins. I think he's gonna do some amazing things in the league in a year or two.

Carolina can be glad they grabbed two DTs, because they're gonna need 'em against the three-headed beast that is Lynch-Turbin-Michael. That kind of run game coupled with RW and Percy in the read-option!? In the immortal words of Mike Mayock, "Are you kidding me!?"
Talking about two DTs...did you see Seattle pick Jesse Williams in the 5th round?
Pete is going to have lots of fun with that D this year. :notworthy:

Imagine him playing for a young Don Shula in the 70s with that blazing footspeed 4.64 running sweeps with Csonka,Kiick,Morris it would be downright lethal!!! Somebody on twitter told me that he wished that Carolina would have taken him in 2nd round.

I'm satisfied with the Cowboys draft. Also glad to see 11 Noles get drafted.

Really? I thought the Cowboys didn't shit the bed completely but they sure didn't do it any favors.

I think it is a common misperception, perpetuated by the stupid Philly sports media, that Chip needs a running QB. All things being equal I think he would prefer a mobile QB, but Chip's offense is more about tempo and quick decision making than it is about a QB who can run. I also think Chip will modify his offense to a degree for the NFL, and this is also a sign of that. Not all of his QB's at Oregon have been great runners. Matt is very smart, and a good decision maker. I see him as someone who can make fast reads at the line and get rid of the ball quickly, which is what Chip really wants. Barkley is better than Foles already, and I think he is many ways is much better suited to Chip than Vick as well. I don't know if Barkley will be a star, but I think this pick made a ton of sense at the start of the 4th round.

they adressed needs so I can't complain, plus this little tidbit (may not be important to some): The entire draft class did not miss a single game due to injury, suspension or anything else in 2012.
