You might want to reread the thread. My first post displayed my utter amazement the bombers were Muzzies and my second displayed my utter amazement that you though it was only a 50/50 chance the bombers were Muzzies. Nothing political about either of those comments.

You're the one who started the shit storm.......again.
I see reading comprehension is not your strong suit.

In light of the lefts mostly failed assault on the 2nd Amendment, if you have a heavily armed terrorist on the loose in YOUR Neighborhood, what would you rather have? A 7 round mag or a 30?

Dear lord... please allow this dangerous combination of hair spary, bat slobber, and D.O.T. four automatic transmission fluid to excite my mind, occupy my spirits, and enrage my body, provoking me to kick any man or woman in the back of the head regardless of what he or she has or has not done unto me. All my Best, Earlie Cuyler.

Good luck with that. I'm sure they'll do a great job investigating your death when they find your body.

I'm pretty sure he meant in case the guy tries to enter your home. I'm pretty sure I'd opt for several of the largest capacity magazines I could get. Your faith in the ability of the police to protect you from harm is comical. They solve crimes. They do not prevent them.

You mean he did something those 9,000 cops couldn't do? Even after shutting down the entire city and going door to door in heavily armed vehicles?

I'll definitely concede about the guy trying to enter my home. Guess that's my bad for misunderstanding him. Thought he was saying the guy who found him wished he had a gun to take care of him.

But I'd feel just as safe with a pistol with a smaller magazine as I would with an AR-15 with a bigger one. I doubt you'd need a lot of ammo to show this guy you have a gun and that he's not getting in, or at least enough time to call the cops and let them know he's here. Like I said, I don't buy into that Rambo fantasy where I'd want to try to take him out unless it was absolutely necessary.

So what would you rather they did?

I mean, it's again all hypothetical, but without the police presence you could argue the suspect wouldn't have tried so hard to lay low, and may have violently entered some houses or apartments in an effort to hide.

well, to keep it kosher, I'd have to perform some sort of surgery on you to warrant the meds. I could probably fit you in around 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. I'm thinking FME and immediate complete prostheses. that would definitely earn you a coupla months of oxys. :thumb:

I'm with you on the pistol versus long rifle. I bought my semi-auto for night time hog hunting, but wouldn't really think of it for typical home defense use. If I had a serious risk of a criminal in my neighborhood, and wanted to have something that could stop him, I'd probably opt for my grandpas sawed off 12 ga. pump. With the plug out it will hold six xx buckshot shells. I'm partial to a scatter gun. Takes away the need for accuracy. But honestly, how many times are you going to have a terrorist running around your town in one lifetime. I'm not sure I'd run out and buy a tactical shotgun just in case. I inherited the pump and double barrel sawed offs when my grandpa passed. He owned a pool hall when I was a kid, and kept them behind the bar. According to my Dad, he never actually had to fire them, just the knowledge that he had them back there was deterrent enough.

I've been asking him that for a long time. I went back through my posts directed at Spanos, and since October I've asked him "Is anything real?" 9 times, and other variations of that another 10 times...never once were any of them acknowldeged
