1) I am not going to view the videos in order to determine if they REALLY promote the radical Jihadist point of view. I will say, though, that I started watching the one with the chameleon and it's pretty cool at the start. The person keeps putting sunglasses of different colors under the lizard and each time the lizard changes color to match that pair of sunglasses. Cool to watch. I'm guessing the point is blending in, etc.

2) If one is determined not to believe the guy was really responsible for the bombings one could just say the CIA or somebody created the Youtube account as part of an effort to frame him.

If one is determined to believe something other than what one sees and hears on the news there is almost never a situation in which somebody can say that it's not POSSIBLE that something was faked in some way. But at some point one has to make a decision as to what to believe. And I think believing what appears to be the case in this instance is a lot better than believing people on the internet wondewring about guys in khaki pants.

Of course I really don't know if you even really doubt that those two guys were/are the bombers or if you're just jerking chains for the fun of it. For all I know you could be D1B or Captain Cat in disguise. Those two are pretty mischievous.

Not at all. I've written many times before that every time I've been involved in something that made the news (like Katrina and the BP oil thing) so that I have direct knowledge of what's going on I've seen that the media don't get it entirely right. They've always created false impressions to some extent. In this case we know that a number of things were reported in the media that turned out not to be true. Some significant and some not. An insignificant one yesterday was reports I heard that a woman noticed blood on/in the boat, etc., and it turns out it was a man. A significant one is that pictures of two young guys were published saying they were suspects and they weren't.

But at some point you have to decide if certain basic things are true. Like it was true with Katrina that a very destructive hurricane hit and caused a lot of damage. It wasn't aliens blasting Biloxi with phasers that wiped out houses so that all one saw when one drove through certain areas were slabs where the houses used to be. And was true that there was an explosion on an oil rig that led to a substantial uncontrolled discharge.

What gets me is people will say they don't believe the media and the government with respect to something like the basic assertion like it was those two guys were the bombers but they'll believe faceless people on the internet that have no real first hand knowledge at all but instead are doing things like looking at pictures and decide something like guys wearing khakis is REALLY significant and indicates something.

The thing about something like this, or something like the idea that government was really responsible for knocking down the World Trade Centers, or the idea that nobody ever landed on the moon is that I just don't think a scenario in which nobody involved in the information conspiracy and/or in a position to know what reallky happened ever came forward to say so just isn't likely. VERY unlikely instead.

I was very good friends with a kid I went to high school with. He was a great guy, never in terrible, will liked,etc... hejoined the marine corps...he is now in military prison for raping a 13 year old.

Yeah, just because some one describes then as a good kids didn't mean they can't/won't do terrible things.

Their uncle described them as losers who were mad because they couldn't settle in life like others.
