What? Danica didn't blow an engine?
Didn't mean to call you out, didn't think you were one that piled onto Danica earlier this year...and didn't meant to have it sound like she blew an engine last week.

Cool. I was just calling out SH's claim that many "name" male NASCAR drivers finished behind Danica. The only "name" driver to finish behind Danica, on the track, was Ryan Newman with a blown engine. That was my only point.

I'm glad you took the setup. Nicely done.

I also would have accepted:

Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. usually finishes behind Danica.

I just said that "big names" finished behind her. I don't see the word "many" in that post.

Additionally, Joe Nemechek has been a near-first-tier "name" for quite some time. Not as big as Gordon, et. al., but certainly recognizable for anyone who's watched NASCAR for any length of time.

Wow, SH...grasping I see. You said "drivers," which is plural...which means more than 1. Only one "name" male driver finished behind her and he had a blown engine. Give it a rest...she's just not that good, and certainly has done nothing to earn the hype other than take her clothes off.

As for Joe Nemechek...come to Charlotte and try to say he's a "name" driver. You'll make southern people laugh in your face. I have met Joe and his mother, they are top-notch people. But, I guarantee you even Joe would say he's not a "name" driver. "Name" drivers aren't constantly looking for a ride. :bs: :willybs:

Try again...

Exciting finish at Fontana today. Joey Logano wrecks Denny Hamlin on last lap, taking both out of contention for the win. Hamlin gets taken to hospital after a hard hit to a portion of the inner wall without SAFER coverage. Kyle Busch steals the win. Dale Jr. surges from 24th to 2nd in the last 20 laps and moves to the lead by 12 points in the Sprint Cup standings. Not sure where Danica Patrick finished, as she was never in the picture.

Missed the end of the race. Hamlin and Logano don't like each other, but that wreck looked to be two guys racing tough as opposed to either trying to wreck the other.

I hope Hamlin is okay.

I am sure he is fine. He drives a Toyota. They have never had any recalls....ever.

I don't think Logano meant to cause the wreck, but he did cause it. Hamlin gave him plenty of room low and held his line. Logano drove in too hard and lost it.

Danica started 40th, but finished 26th, right behind Hamlin. Danica and Hamlin were at the top of those one lap down. B. Labonte, Nemechek, Bowyer, Martin, Montoya, and Riggs were even farther back.

A +14 start/finish differential is pretty respectable in my book. Only Edwards, Menard, and Ragan did better today....

Hamlin crashed and was airlifted to a hospital and still finished ahead of Danica Patrick.

She's just not a very good driver. I mean, she's so far out of the chase already that if the entire field decided not to show up at the next race and she was the only car to run, she still wouldn't crack the top 15 in the standings after the race.

The entire field could sit out the next two races and Earnhardt Jr, Keselowski, and JJ would still be ahead of her in the standings.

Nice spin, and I'm not talking about the spinning out that she usually does on the track.

Not when you start 40th. 26th is not a good finish, not matter how you look at it.

Just giving you a hard time, as usual. Look, Danica is probably a good IRL driver. She's just not been very impressive in NASCAR and many NASCAR fans feel like she's being forced on them.

Granted, I wouldn't mind Danica forcing herself on me.

Heh, heh....

Actually, I kinda feel the same way. I felt like NASCAR was forced on Danica (not to mention me). I like the racing in IRL better....

She will be gone as soon as the cellulite starts blooming off her ass. Then she can be trained to do a woman's job, like working at Subway.
