2009 NCAA FCS Champion?

Post by weberwildcat »

So who will win the FCS national title this upcoming season? Weber State or Montana?

Appy State, JMU, Richmond, UNI, Cal Poly, Nova and Idaho State...NO chance!

If YSU can make it to the playoffs, I'll give them a shot. The problem will be getting through the MVFC; especially because we got SIU-NDSU-UNI on the road!

App has to be the odds on favorite for me right now. I think Montana will struggle early but will gel later in the year. Struggling doesn't mean losing but we will be vulnerable early if we're gonna be vulnerable. I think you have to look at the top 3 teams from the CAA again and I don't know what UNI loses this year but they have a tradition of being there as well. YSU may have a good shot at making the playoffs if they can build on the couple of good wins last year with a lot of young guys that seemed to get some good reps if I remember right. MSU and Weber are probably gonna be dangerous this year as well and if Cal Poly makes the play offs they will be ready to do some damage this year also. I don't have a clue what's gonna happen with the Southland teams this year.

hence mr. green and his grin.

i think a lot of our fans learned from last year that you probably shouldn't cock off about winning a power conference like it's the GWFC... and I recognize (and agree) that a lot of our fans online are obnoxious, smack talking pricks who don't have the grapes to face the music when their squad doesn't win every game 70-0 like we did back in D-II

After the loss last year at home and with "Pride fuckin' with em'" I think they are gonna be raring to go this season and real tenured at a lot of spots. Think Bruce Willis in this scene...with a touch of Marcelas...

I don't know much...but what I do know is that NDSU will be too busy jerking themselves off to make any playoff run...actually they will probably not even make the playoffs like last year.

Oh Grizza, we really only have one that is posting regular, maybe BB a little bit but...TTBF has never been like some of the asshats from NDSU so what you say we show him the respect he has earned. We need to save the venom for the jerk socks that have earned it. There will be plenty of em' showing up once the Bison win a few games...

Glad you guys have confidence in App, because despite how many starters they have returning from last year I'm still very, very nervous. The system's in place, but Satterfield will be missed, especially if Jerry's kid is allowed anywhere near the offensive play-calling. The offensive line better have improved a lot over last year, because if they can't keep Armanti healthy, things could get ugly.

Unless you guys are just trying to jinx them, and in that case: Fuck. You.

I may have to agree...
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Gotta agree.....We've got Armanti, but we'll also see how much of his success was due to Satterfield....I'd pick Richmond again...did they lose much from last year's team? JMU doesn't make playoffs.....

My pick is App State, bc Armanti Edwards is in his senior season, he lead his team to 2 NC's, and he lead his team to Victory @ Michigan. oh yea 2008 Walter Payton award. ;)

I would rather see these teams win it:
Eastern Washington
Idaho State
Missou State
Eastern Kentucky
Jacksonville state
So Carolina St.
Maine
Umass
Rhode Island
Sac State

I DONT want to see these teams win it:
App St
Cal Poly
Weber st.
SIU
NIU
Richmond
JMadison
Youngstown st

This reminds me of another UNI football story that involved a fumble....let's see, now how did that story go?......

Add to that one the fumble in 2007 agaisnt UD that was returned for TD by UD which cause about a 14-17 point swing. I know there is a picture out there somewhere of that one.

That just backs up my statement...take care of business and you don't have to worry about shit like that.
