Montana State University was recently named to "America's 100 Best College Buys," a list recognizing select colleges and universities for quality and affordability.
Approximately 1,500 schools were analyzed in the study, which used academic performance data from the freshman class, as well as the cost of education for out-of-state students, to select schools to recognize.
No brainer. You see the atmosphere at Washington Griz stadium on TV at playoff time. You look at the history. No contest. Hard for me to believe any kid would go to any other Big Sky school if it came down to a decision between that school and Montana. I'm sure some do. But it's hard to believe.
Maybe a kid from Southern California would rather stay away from the cold. But that's about the only reason I can see.

We've actually won a few recruiting battles with Montana lately. It obviously has to do with playing time in many cases, and if you're a QB or a WR, it would tough to not play under Beau Baldwin. But yes, it's a hell of a tough pitch.
