Virginia releases avg. salaries of new graduates.

Among the first in the nation to do so and I thought it was interesting:

GMU grads generally tend to stay in the NoVA area which is likely the reason they make the most, but the common factor UVA, VT, and ODU share is that they're STEM schools. The rest are liberal arts universities.

Do you guys think it's important for a state to release this information? Or even right? Do you think it might help someone choose a school? Does it even matter?

ps. ODU's tuition is the cheapest in the state, nearly on par with NVCC.

The biggest thing that skews this chart is it shows only graduates that stay in state after graduation...

And what abut the graduates who don't report their income?
