and still not do crap with it?

As a Montana fan, I always love how all the other schools stomp Montana in recruting, but then don't do crap. It seems to be endemic to those schools in which Rivals and Scout don't bother covering.

Hasn't UT Chatty had the best classes the last couple of years? Look what they have done.

Chatty, Portland State and Sac State seem to always have the best classes.

Every preseason it is predicted to be the year that PSU and Sac will make some noise .

Yeah, it is pretty obvious that kids who attend camps get the most recognition from Scouts and Rivals. Very interesting to see all these FCS schools fight it out for 3 star players who would most likely be 1 or 2 stars if they were in the Pac NW where there is very little coverage.

Hell, I have seen 3 stars downgraded to 2 when they committed to Montana.

That happened to us this year. Our 3 star was downgraded when he sent in his LOI

Since 2006 when the Bears joined the BSC, they have a grand total of five wins against conference teams not named Idaho State. Five. Out of 49 opportunities. Every year I hear you about all these 3 star LBs or RBs or QBs that are finally going to make the difference, and every year UNC does squat. Yes, I understand that UNC won 4 of 5 to finish the season last season, but until they finish .500 or above consistently, there's nothing to make me or anyone except myopic kids like you from thinking the Bears have turned a corner.

And to answer the thread question, what team doesn't have the best ever recruit class year in and year out? Every coach will say some cliche "this is the best class ever" type of quote every freakin year.

If I recall, I mentioned that if UNC is going to compete with the likes of UM, MSU, we can't keep losing to middle-level teams like Sac State. What's wrong with that? I could be wrong, but that's how I remember things going down.
