Tebow hasn't even had a good game....

Those that support he is a great QB point to the play in OT of the Pitt game...when he through a 10 yard slant route to the only WR in route on the play and the DB's taking a terrible angle on one of the fastest guys on the league

To answer your question: After what I saw in the Pittsburgh playoff game, I'd accept him as a talented QUARTERBACK regardless of affiliation. Naturally, I like him better as a man because he IS a Christian, but that doesn't enter into the football question very much.

Yea no...he was supposed to get the shot last season when Sanchez sucked and Rex skipped right over him, so I really don't see Rex ever putting Tebow in at QB.

Tebow hasn't even had a good game....
False. He's had 3 good games from what I can see. In 2011, @Min, @Oak, and vs.Pit.

Let me guess, the only reasonable explanation for this is that Ryan has a vendetta against Tebow--and, it has nothing to do with ability. Correct?

Correct. Tebow is the best QB to ever live. Ryan just hates great QBs.

Read again. If Sanchez goes out and the Jets are forced to use him then Tebow has that chance.

Again, they were forced to use him last year, but skipped over him for their 3rd stringer.

Actually yes. He was afraid to use him because if the Jets actually won the games he started, they would have a very difficult time explaining to the world why they traded/cut him after the season.

I don't have a lovefest with Tebow. I would argue that for any player who took his team to the playoffs the year before and actually won a game there. That kind of player deserves a shot at starting over the likes of Mark Sanchez any day of the week, but Rex wouldn't even give him one start.

If he helps the team win games, that should be the only thing that matters. If he starts and sucks and the team loses at the end of last season, then there wouldn't be any problem cutting him and having him switch positions to make it back onto a roster.

 Like an NFL coach is willing to put his job on the line over some sort of principled stand against Tebow. Yeah, Tebow did so well for Denver they couldn't wait to ship him off. As of now, it doesn't appear any team wants Tebow to even be a backup QB. Are you really saying that all 32 teams have a vendetta against Tim Tebow?

First, Rex's job was also put on the line when starting Sanchez, who is one of the worst QBs in the league. He also put his job on the line when starting Mcillroy over Tebow, and how did that work out? Sounds like he should have been fired since both Sanchez and Mcillroy sucked.

Second, if you can get Peyton Manning, then yes, of course you are going to ship Tebow off. :dunce:

And finally, I think teams would take Tebow as a backup, but the problem is he is a celebrity. Therefore, they don't want the distraction.

Good for him.

Doesn't give him the right to keep starting after sucking it up beyond belief last season. :ohno:

Denver won more playoff games with Tebow and quarterback than they did with Manning at quarterback.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Nobody has a 'right' to start in the NFL, it has to be earned. If you are going to use playoff perfomance from previous seasons (which you did) then the wins by Sanchez have to be part of the equation.

Of course they are part of the equation. That's why he will remain the QB of the jets this year. Last year, he was frankly one of the worst QBs in the league. I'm sorry but winning a couple playoff games only gets you so far. He should have been benched and there's no valid argument against it. :ohno:

Look - somebody agrees with SH!
Tebow, I really wanted to see you take charge of an offense again and the game. You are not a good QB by todays standards, but you are a great football player who knows how to lead a team and WIN. You will be “Tebowing” when you reach your next team. I have faith in you. Get out of that circus they call the Jets and away from the reality TV star, Rex Ryan, and Mark Rapist Sanchez.

Shhhhh! It's a well concealed conspiracy. The Jets coaches decided that they would rather lose than win with a celebrity at QB. They don't want to risk winning another Superbowl for the Jets and having Tebow turn into the next Broadway Joe.
