I read some more articles about this on LA-based websites. The women were actually Hispanic, not Asian. CNN screwing up initial reporting again. Imagine that. All other details were correct, except the fact that the cop killer truck was actually grey, which makes the LAPD look even worse.

The women have retained an attorney and I hope they get some good settlement coin out of LAPD.

Just minutes later, LAPD apparently got the race and size just about right before they opened up on a large black man in another shoot first/ask questions later bungled shoot-up of a pickup.
