MSU 68-72 EWU; The Eags shoot 27% in the second half, but the Bobcats shoot 30% for the game
UMT 81-68 PSU; Montana shoots 56% and puts up an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.00
SAC 67-79 SUU; The Hornets are outshot 60%-17% in the second half
ISU 63-78 UNC; The Bears go 15/21 from the arc to avenge a humiliating loss in Pocatello
WEB 66-51 UND; Otis & Berry combine for 41 points for Weber

    Women

NAU 67-73 SAC; Both teams were identical from the field (25/72), but the Hornets get 9 more FT attempts
UNC 50-49 ISU; NoCo gets a big road win despite going 1/15 from three
UND 56-51 WEB; NoDak gets their first Big Sky road win, though a 5-pt. win over Weber isn't too impressive

EWU 68-59 MSU; The Eagles end the game on a 17-2 run

I know that Eastern Washington plays pretty well at home, but I was surprised to see them beat Montana St. Seems like the Bobcats are nearly as inconsistent as North Dakota is. If they hadn't fell apart against the Griz and Eagles, they'd have a firm hold on 3rd place right now.

Cherry is getting his game back. He has looked really good the past couple games.

Weber's loss to MSU is hurting right now, but the season is far from over, although the only game i see the Griz possibly losing is @ Weber.

UM is on a roll.

Montana backup G/F Kevin Henderson was arrested for a misdemeanor "baby DUI" on Sunday night (link). According to the student-conduct code, this carries a minimum 1-game suspension.

Henderson's playing time has been more sporadic in recent weeks. He played double-digit minutes against both Weber & PSU, but only got in for the final garbage-time minute in Cheney & only played 3 minutes against ISU.

Couple of good bracketbuster games,

Montana @ Davidson is huge, awesome game for the Griz and on tv to boot.

Weber @ Oral Roberts, definitely not a bad game, pretty evenly matched teams

Sac gets a nice close road game vs UCSB
Northern Arizona gets to travel to Hawaii
Northern Colorado goes to UC Davis
North Dakota is @ Nebraska Omaha (Nebraska Omaha?)
South Dakota @ Montana State
Cal State N.Ridge @ SUU
Idaho @ Idaho State (Vandal fans are probably not happy  )
Sam Houston @ Eastern Washington (ironic since they played each other in football this year)
UC Riverside @ Portland State

This loss pretty much ends the Hornets season. They needed to win all 3 home games this week to put themselves in good position for a BSC Tournament berth. With 4 of the last 6 BSC games on the road, and 3 of the last 4 against the top 3 BSC teams; the Hornets were looking at a 1-5 finish to the BSC season. With this loss the Hornets will finish at best with 8 BSC wins…and even that seems pretty hard pressed at this point. Time for Katz to go...
