The play of a couple of running backs and the effort by the number one defense were the highlights Friday afternoon as The University of Montana Grizzlies held their first spring scrimmage of 2009 in Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
Senior halfback Thomas Brooks-Fletcher (Bellevue, Wash.) gained 51 hard-earned yards on 14 carries and scored the only touchdown (12 yards) of the situation, controlled-type scrimmage, while redshirt freshman Tel Reynolds (Drummond) debuted with eight carries for an impressive 118 yards, including a 53-yard run on his first carry in a Grizzly uniform.
Seventh-year UM Head Coach Bobby Hauck praised the play of the starting defense.

Yeah he is. Tel hasn't played in a few years. He was in a pretty bad car accident in high school and if I'm not mistaken, partially broke his neck. He was in a neck brace for a long time.AZGrizFan wrote:I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess Tel is Chase's brother? I smell a brother combo RB duo in 2010.Ursus A.
