TIm Scott is to be appointed the new Senator.

Interestingly enough he will be the ONLY black senator.

The mayor of Wilmington, DE, just had the city remove the felon box from applications. A felony should not be held against you.

I don't know Tim Scott from Adam but it would seem that SC is a very conservative state and that it is appropriate that this seat be filled by a very conservative person.

It's quite telling that a white majority elected and reelected Tim and that he is now the only black senator.
