It was an ugly shooting game all around last night. Most of those missed Hornet FT's were by our big man Veteto. Dickson was the only one shooting well and he got into foul trouble that took him out of his groove. Now a long 2 week layoff until BSC play begins.

The conference is now 14-54 vs D-1. :o Conference games can't start fast enough for everyone but the top 3 or 4 teams. Two big games Saturday for the conference, BYU @ Weber and S Dakota St @ UM. The conference really needs both to win.

After giving up the first six points in OT, the Griz have rattled off 9 straight to take a 3 point lead in the 2nd OT... :thumb: :thumb:

Griz lose by 1. Each time the Griz hit a trey in 2OT, they let SDSU answer with an easy trey on the other end. :ohno:

And, of course, SDSU's 60% free throw shooter hits both for the win. :ohno:

Our stud missed a free throw that would have won the game at the end of the first OT, then two straight turnovers to end the game... :ohno: :ohno:

Yeah, but Jamar's never been a stellar free throw shooter so I wasn't surprised by that.

Griz played much better D this time (held Wolters to 24%), but the players other than Weisner just weren't making open 3s like they usually do.

Pre-Conference Standings

Post by Mvemjsunpx »

This isn't technically pre-conference for the women, because there's one NC game tomorrow before conference starts Thursday. Conference play does start tomorrow for the men, though, despite there also being two non-conference games at the same time.

As usual, the streaks have conference on the left & overall on the right. Last year's Big Sky Tournament results are included in the streaks.
