I don't love politics nor claim to be in any way informed like most of you are/do, but the thought of the US trying to pull off another "police" action where they try to take care of someone else's crap is getting really old.

Seriously, the Middle East is not worth saving. I have nothing against the people or culture, but that part of the world has never been stable. Just look at the history of the middle east. Persians, Assyrians, Romans, Israel, Greeks, Babylonians, Ottomans, Muslims, Saudis, etc.- they've all had their turn on top out there and one way or the other, another bloody war comes along and kicks them off the top perch and the cycle repeats itself ad infinitum. The US just needs to give them up as a bad job. Dicking around in the Middle East just isn't worth the time or money.

Right now in Egypt, we have an egotistical leader who doesn't give a crap about what Congress or the Courts think, and a majority of whack jobs trying to force a minority of people to live under their rule. Woe to those who oppose Muslin law.

I was NOT in attendance at the H/Y game during "The Incident" brilliantly orchestrated diabolical "We Suck" game that was a 35 - 3 rout of Yale

I saw the Red Sox win their first world series in an ice age (and then another) it was fun then but I'm no Red Sox fan

I suffered through 5 ridiculous winters

I accomplished what I set out to accomplish / life is good / I couldn't ask for more
