0-13 vs. Montana.
1-0 vs. Montana State.
Good showing from SHSU tonight.
I was surprised tonight.
#1. SHSU is legit....again.....as much as it pains me to admit it.
#2. MSU was not ready for this game. They've played SOOO well against the run, but their safeties have been torched for most of the night. I expected much better from them.
As much as I slightly wanted MSU to win, I am still thoroughly enjoying this performance as a Griz fan.

And Poly "WOULD" have won the Championship too right?
Cal Poly held SHSU to 241 yards and 18 points on the road despite coughing up 3 turnovers. I think it is fair to say home field would be worth at least 3 points. Cal Poly lost by 2 on the road.
Well, if Eastern Washington gets by Illinois State...and I don't think that's a given at all...I'm thinking that if I'm Eastern Washington I think in terms of game plan to try to make SHSU pay for pressing. I think it's doable. I watched Sam Houston State play SFA and SFA burned them numerous times. They put up 566 yards on the BearKats including 545 passing.
When the announcers were talking about SHSU last night they made it sound like it was a game never in doubt by mentioning that the final score was 51 to 43 but at one point was 44-21. But SFA's last drive moved 56 yards to the SHSU 29 before SHSU did stop them on downs. The game was in doubt until SFA failed on 4th and 10 with less than a minute left.
Also there was a huge swing in the game in the second quarter when SFA had the ball first and goal from the SHSU 10 and leading 14-13. SHSU then got a 92 yard pick 6 to make the score 20-13.
That's part of SHSU's game so credit to them. But the point is SHSU's defense had its hands more than full with SFA's passing game. They can be made to pay for pressing like they do. SFA has outstanding receivers and I don't know what Eastern Washington has in that area except they have the tall white guy who seems good. Now let's see if Eastern Washington can get by Illinois State.

Thanks Bobcats. Bunch of mother fucking dickholes. I lost money again on you. Hope 2506 killed himself last night.

I enjoyed watchin' SHSU win! I just knew they would do it! I have a cousin who graduated from SHSU.
I really liked seein' Bell to Diller, 3 catches for 104 yards, a TD and a long of 56.
I liked the MSU turnovers, gettin' sacked.......the meltdown in the cold.

Kaufman is arguably the best receiver in the FCS. Add in Edwards and Herd, who were both 1000+ yard receivers in 2011, and it's probably close ti being the best trio in the FCS. Not a lot of drop off with the other guys.

It's not close to, they are the best WR corp in FCS, hands up.
Silly me seeded the Bearkats #2 and was vilified for it.
What say yee, beeches ??

Been telling all my Bobcat friends here in Bozeman for weeks that SHSU is currently the best team in FCS, but none of them wanted to listen. They were too busy throwing words like "national championship" around
