I guarantee that line moves before the end of the week. Guessing it'll be ODU -2 by Friday night.CAA Flagship wrote:What? We are underdogs on our own turf????![]()

Re: Quarterfinal Lines and O/U's - 5 Dimes
Really odd that we are underdogs on Saturday.
We're at home in front of a 20K+ sold-out stadium.
We've been ranked higher most of the year.
We have a substantially better record and are seeded higher.
We've played and beaten more ranked teams.
Also, 70 points is low- we can score that ourselves. I'd take the over in a heartbeat.

It swung a half point back in your favor. I still don't understand why they started GSU as the favorite though unless they figure they'd get early money on ODU and late money on GSU. I figured it would open ODU -1 or -1/2.
And the over is just screaming for action (unless it rains). So is the NDSU-Woff over.

I'm surprised the O/U moved down to 69.93henfan wrote:Settle down Beavis.CAA Flagship wrote: Edited to reflect 7:30 am ECB Update.![]()

Supposed to be cloudy but dry and 68 degrees.
Will be raining bloody marys prior to Noon.
Re: Quarterfinal Lines and O/U's - 5 Dimes
ODU is now a pick 'em.

Gamblers are realizing that the numbers on the GSU helmets reflect each player's IQ.93henfan wrote:ODU is now a pick 'em.

In Flagship's defense, his tailgate is an oasis in fine spirits in a sea of malt liquor.

Could it be that allowing Coastal 35 points is affecting the confidence for ODU?
Re: Quarterfinal Lines and O/U's - 5 Dimes
That was actually one of ODU's better defensive efforts.Keeper wrote:Could it be that allowing Coastal 35 points is affecting the confidence for ODU?

Re: Quarterfinal Lines and O/U's - 5 Dimes
Not at all. Everybody knows that all we need is a couple of stops each game and we win. A team with a bad offense has to go out and make stops every series. That is a lot of pressure. ODU's defense knows that they only need a stop here or a stop there and that will be the difference in the game.Keeper wrote:Could it be that allowing Coastal 35 points is affecting the confidence for ODU?
Re: Quarterfinal Lines and O/U's - 5 Dimes
GSU-ODU still a pick 'em, but the o/u has moved up by 2 and 1/2. I really thought ODU would be giving a point by now.

The two bets I'd be most comfortable making right now would be on Wofford at +15 and 1/2 and the over on GSU-ODU, even at its current 71 and 1/2. It was a steal at 69.

Re: Quarterfinal Lines and O/U's - 5 Dimes
I have no doubt NDSU can win by a couple of scores. I think asking them to win by 16 is excessive however. I wouldn't touch 14, but once you get past that I'm taking the dog.Gil Dobie wrote:Might knock 89hen off the throne of Czar of the ECB93henfan wrote:The two bets I'd be most comfortable making right now would be on Wofford at +15 and 1/2 and the over on GSU-ODU, even at its current 71 and 1/2.
