Wonder how many votes my guy Price got considering his record breaking season.Surprised that Heinke lost first team honors considering his season as well. Can't wait until post season all-star games I want to see how many of these 1-AA guys get invites???

Agreed this guy with his 4.32 speed has the necessary jets to play at the next level and at 6-0 184 decent size.Hope he gets picked for post season all star games. He has NFL genes as well. Are teams afraid to throw the ball in his area he is tied for 23rd in Int's??

Already been selected for the Senior Bowl and invited to combine ... hearing could go as high as top 10 picks in 2nd round, depending on how the draft order falls. Of course needs to have a good Senior Bowl and workouts, but I'm confident that will happen as long as he's healthy.

Thanks he is tied for 23rd place in Interceptions.Obviously teams are afraid to throw in his area. With his speed depending on the draft I think he could be a late first round pick.

Amen to that brother/sister been saying this yrs.In '14 the FBS will finally see the light and have a legit playoff system thanks to Pres.Obama.Close to half of the players in the NFL are FCS products.

I very much doubt either of those claims.

How can FBS and FCS be nearly equal if only a couple dozen FCS players are drafted each year? Are NFL rosters jam-packed with undrafted FCS players?

I actually did the numbers at the beginning of the season due to a discussion I was having with a D2 fan that believes the top D2 schools would compete for a title in the FCS...and that D2 players get to the NFL just as easily and readily as FCS players.

I'll break them down from BCS, non-BCS, FCS, D2, D3 to just FBS non-FBS to show the real discrepancy here...If you want the borken down numbers I can do those as well....I'm including practice squad/IR players listed on the roster as well....also including the recent FBS moves as FCS

Bills
FBS: 59
non-FBS: 12

Dolphins
FBS: 58
Other: 5

Pats:
FBS: 59
Other: 7

Jets
FBS: 53
Other: 15

Do you want me to keep going?

Keep in mind that includes D2, D3, NAIA and many of those were FBS transfers and almost all of them went undrafted....

There are more sun belt players than other on those teams as well.

McGhee over Heinicke? Really?

McGhee's good, but come on… the numbers aren't even close.

Yes I saw the players from D2,D3,NAIA but didn't count them of course. The average was five players apiece the total amount for both conferences is 177 84 in the AFC and 93 for the NFC.The team with the most players from the FCS is 11 for Jacksonville. In the NFC it's a five way tie with 8 the Cards,Panthers,Saints,Packers,Cowboys. Its a nice representation of our level of football.
