I would say the Christian (Desist) morality were guiding principles which our founding fathers believed in and used in making decisions in the creation of the United States. The morals and ideas that gave people like Washington and Adams a moral compass were utilized. Washington, Adams, Jefferson, etc... did not set up a theocracy. They did not set up a country where everything was tied to a religious ideaology or church. The country does not advocate a specific religion. The country advocates the spirit of freedom of and from religion i.e. practice any religion you want and be safe from oppressive religions being forced upon you.
Yep, and was a bit if a rejection to Christian concepts like the Devine right if kings.
Deism is knowing God through reason and seeing his design in the natural world. Deism does not agree with the messages in the bible that strike fear of reprisals for reasoning. Case in point:
Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
Romans 13:1-2
The above passage, to the typical religious man in 1775 America would prohibit that man from rebelling against an unjust government, even when it is a righteous rebellion. A man, believing in the natural world designed by God and using his God given reason, rejects the notion that he is forced to abide by a law (or government) that has become tyrannical.
