The top 20 countries with the highest personal incomes tax all are in Europe. Belgium-Germany-France are the highest with 50% or higher. But all those countries have considerably lower corporate tax rates compared to the US.

Belgium-Germany-France also all have longer life expectancy than the US.

It's not because of the quality of healthcare, it's more to do with obesity, smoking, drinking and eating habits and people ignoring healthcare. If you look and most life expectance formula's, when you check smoking, drinking too much, high weight, these calculate to shorter life expectancy. You live the good life of leisure, that is available in this country and you add to those factors. The only factor not under a person's responsibility is their heridity.
