Kind of interesting because it was basically "liberal" ideology that led to the Supreme Court distorting the Constitution in order to allow the Federal Government the authority to regulate such things then "conservative" ideology embracing it in support of anti recreational drug use hysteria. Federal government has no Constitutional Jurisdiction here. Not really. We have to say that it does because the Supreme Court basically lied and might makes right says that it can exercise authority but, really, by the Constitution itself, it doesn't.
