Re: Is NAU the real deal?
Last I checked we didn't even need an offense because our special teams (not 2506 kind special) and our defense were enough to beat the scats. But yeah, I'm sure the almighty McChoke INTended to throw EWU a couple bones?cats2506 wrote:Ya know it isnt even worth esplaining dis sh!t to an idiot lik you but Im gonna do it once more.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:

MSU's schedule can't become tougher than EWU's, btw. We've already played UM. MSU's schedule can get tougher than it currently is by losing to a playoff team in their first round game.![]()
Oh, and once again, you're living in denial. EWU beat the f*ck out of MSU............'s hopes and dreams.
Your remaining schedule is weaker than MSU's, both play PSU, but you play UCD and MSU plays the higher rated UM, the SOS is what it is to date, not calculated out at the beginning of the season.
Still putting all your hopes in the fizz to save EWU's season for you huh, I'm actually hoping you do win out so the BSC looks a little better, too bad you will still be second fiddle to the winningst program in BSC over the last 3 years (Yeah, that includes 2010).
How good a game did VA have, how about Kaufman, Herd, 13 first downs, 211 total yards, vs MSU 27 first downs and 365 total yards, you can say you beat us but your team knows it aint so.
I find it amusing that you don't understand how the Sagarin works. All the teams are assigned a rating based on who they've beaten and by how much. What you're arguing is that a win over UM for MSU, albeit unlikely, would bump up MSU's SOS past that of EWU's, despite EWU already owning a win over UM, PLUS MSU.
In order for that to happen, MSU would likely have to beat the Griz by the same margin the Griz beat the scats in Bozeman last year. Good luck!

Right now we lead by only .06 rating points, (3 spots in EWCC lingo) but after next weeks game that will widen, IF it does come down to Sagrin then the Cats get the autobid
EWU's hopes for an autobid are totally in the hands of CP and UM,
So you need to hope for a sealevel running team playing at 7000 feet against one of the better rushing defenses in the conf,
or a griz win
Hell I am not even sure that EWU can beat PSU

MSU moved up by rolling a team worse than the team we narrowly beat (also who MSU narrowly beat). So when MSU narrowly beats or likely loses to UM while EWU rolls PSU, EWU will once again be higher than MSU. Not that it really matters, because EWU will still get a higher seed because of the head to head, same number of D-I wins one of which is against FBS, and a much tougher schedule. Better luck next year bitchkitten.
Re: Is NAU the real deal?
PSU is a much better offensive team than EWU and better than they showed yesterday, they just had cold fingers.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:cats2506 wrote:

EWU will struggle in in Portland, just as the struggled in Cheney against UCD who MSU played in Davis.
Besides I doubt it will come down to Sagrin anyway (which MSU will own) because CP will get rolled at 7000 ft, which thorows it to common opponents, which is SUU

PSU's offense averages only 11 yards and 4 points more than EWU per game. But I guess in your delusional world of self-assurances, that's "much better."
PSU's scoring defense? 108th. EWU's scoring defense? 40th. EWU will not lose to PSU, not a chance in hell. So, according to the Big Sky Conference release, there are three possible outcomes.
EWU wins in 2 of the 3. The ONLY way MSU can get the auto (again, not that it matters because EWU will still get a higher seed), is if NAU upsets CP AND MSU upsets UM, which is unlikely. Better luck next year.If MSU, EWU and Cal Poly tie at 7-1, the automatic bid would go to Eastern Washington. All three teams would have played Sacramento State in league games. Cal Poly would be eliminated because of a loss to the Hornets. MSU and EWU both beat Sac State, so the tiebreaker would revert to the head-to-head meeting between MSU and EWU, which the Eagles won.
If MSU, EWU and NAU tie at 7-1, the automatic bid would go to Montana State. All three teams would have played Southern Utah, and Montana State is the only one of the three to have a win over the Thunderbirds.
If EWU and Cal Poly tie at 7-1, EWU would get the automatic bid because of a head-to-head win over the Mustangs.

This is quite possibly the dumbest thing you have ever written on here, and that's saying quite a bit.cats2506 wrote:PSU is a much better offensive team than EWU and better than they showed yesterday, they just had cold fingers.
MSU struggled against UCD, and seemed to do ok against PSU.cats2506 wrote:EWU will struggle in in Portland, just as the struggled in Cheney against UCD who MSU played in Davis.
Also, there is a much bigger chance that MSU loses to UM than EWU losing @ PSU, you just won't admit.

Re: Is NAU the real deal?
the nau athletics fb page posted an article about nau losing to oregon in bball and some ¨fan¨ commented ¨ya but at least we could beat asu at football.¨ right the only problem is we already played them and lost 63-6. then during the game on fox sports, some idiot from a satellite campus sent in an email that was read during the broadcast. the email said that he was a 57 year old freshman and he was thinking about coming out for the team.
later on in the broadcast somebody else emailed in inquiring about our chances at a bowl game.
now dont get me wrong, i know a handful of GREAT nau football fans(close friends), but my god do we have the most uneducated fans in the world?

Re: Is NAU the real deal?
also my thoughts on saturdays game. this has to be the biggest game played in the dome in years, hoping for a good turnout. i really thought zach bauman looked slow against suu and i heard he was banged up along with a few other players. i feel like if our team is a little more healthy and we dont give up any blocked punts or stupid plays, then we have a decent shot. now if we lose this game, i dont think we make the playoffs. we have one win against a high school team and losing two straight to good teams at home is going to be hard to overlook, especially with our history of late season collapses. i dont think i have been so nervous for an nau game in a long time. go jacks
Re: Is NAU the real deal?
That's the type of fan that you don't know you have, but come out of the woodwork left, right, up, done, and sideways when the team actually wins a game.jacksdude0109 wrote:the nau athletics fb page posted an article about nau losing to oregon in bball and some ¨fan¨ commented ¨ya but at least we could beat asu at football.¨ right the only problem is we already played them and lost 63-6. then during the game on fox sports, some idiot from a satellite campus sent in an email that was read during the broadcast. the email said that he was a 57 year old freshman and he was thinking about coming out for the team.later on in the broadcast somebody else emailed in inquiring about our chances at a bowl game.

They'll be gone soon enough....just as SE and I were trying to say earlier in this thread
