What a shame. :ohno:
Now we get to see Obama's magic plan that he opted to withhold in his first term. Hope and change baby, and it's Bush's fault all the way to 2016!!!!!! :coffee:

He was dealing with 2 wars and a collapsed economy. You turn that shit around in 4 years. :ohno:

In what way? I'm sure you have a lot of kooky tree huggers out there.

BTW, it's 10,000... Virgil Goode got almost 5k in WA.

Agree, that is a shitstorm to deal with. But why he compounded the problem with healthcare reform to the nth degree at that time is the Dems fault.

I haven't checked this morning yet for final tally..!!!
10,000 Yee Haw

It's exciting because it says there are a whole bunch of people who just don't buy into either party's line of total bullsh!t and were forced to do something else with their vote

Not everybody is so emotionally attached to one "Thought system" or "Ideology"

One difference between me and Obama is that I didn't emphatically say I would do something then fail to deliver. We're still at war last time I checked with a surge in place. Gitmo is open for business also, but those are inconvenient truths. :coffee:

No doubt, he came into a bad situation. However, as ASUG8 mentioned, he didn't say he would fix it in 4 years--Obama did. Now, Romney clearly wasn't the answer either and that's one reason why he lost.

Actually, exit polls showed a strong majority of voters, yes voters, who said the blame for the economic crisis lies with the George W. Bush administration, so you are correct, and likely Bush will continue to be blamed for financially fucking everything up during his tenure.

And rightfully so.

Obama certainly inherited quite a mess...in '08 and in '12. Hard to blame a guy who's been in Dallas since '08 for what you didn't accomplish in the last four years, but I'm certain BO will find a way. :coffee:

Again, it was the VOTERS who were polled, and 60% put the blame for the economy on Bush.

Pretty easy for anybody to find a "way" with a 60/40 majority on your side.

Bush without question deserves some of the blame, and some of it is simply the business cycle. Presidents get blamed when things go poorly and look like heroes when the cycle moves upward. Government entities can attempt to mitigate the depth of the slide but the cycle is always running the show. I think by '16 the cycle will have turned much more favorable in spite of government involvement and the prez will take all the credit since none of us actually built anything ourselves. :tothehand:
