You can't rely on Rasmussen. For the preliminary polls he is typically an outlier from other polls, by about 2% in favor of the GOP. He may come in line with the rest of the polls for the final polls, but I wouldn't trust his preliminary polls.

There is no way to verify preliminary polls, but if 5 polls say one thing and you say another - and you're the one who moves in line with the other 5 polls for the final poll - then I don't trust your preliminary polls.

You are being harsh. They are both pretty sharp and good politicans. Their debates (if they happen) will be interesting. Neither beats Christie, but I can see the GOP picking someone other than Christie in which case a Dem could win in 2016 if the economy is doing well.
