Wow. Romney just went up by 100k with 50% in Florida. That's a huge turnaround in a very short time.

Florida is polling nearly identically as 2008 which is good for Obama.

Romney up big early, but he has an Old Dominion defense. Look for an Obama rally. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

That 43% is the early vote totals. Republicans do better on election day voting. I still think Romney wins Florida.

Republicans do better on late election day voting/late returns- after they get off work.

Not trying to get a, "No shit, Einstein" response, but this election is gonna' be a close one!

Saw on the news that there was a voting machine in service that every time someone voted for Obama, it changed the vote to Romney. The news of the report showed it from a YouTube vid, and that's just what happened. I looked for it on YouTube, but couldn't find it.

I think it was in New Jersey, but I'm not sure...

Another thing to remember with FL- the heavily republican panhandle is in the central time zone, an hr behind the rest of the state of FL in the eastern time zone. FL will break Romney's way with the later returns.

Does anyone here ever participate in exit polls? The couple of times I've been asked I've just ignored them (that goes for all polls for me). Figured a lot of other people did to. Why I never put much stock in them.

I saw this comment. I'm not sure if the dude is an actual software developer, but his explanation of the above video made sense in my head. Plus the way he's touching that screen looks awfully weird:
I'm a software developer too, except the *real* kind that can/has written touch drivers. If you take your other finger and push the top left of the screen over Romney, every time you touch Obama its going to register half way between and toggle Romney. This is how we handle "fat fingers" and its part of the usual algorithm for anything not multi-touch or needing gestures, like a basic voting machine. If this was legit, he'd pull the camera back and show he doesn't have his other finger somewhere else on the screen. The simple fact is, he's using his other finger so he can't do that. Look at the angle of his finger which is suspicious enough. The only problem here is the software engineers should have registered "fat enough" fingers as an error rather than handle in the usual useful way. Just so scammers like this guy couldn't make very carefully placed videos such as this one. Try what I'm telling you on any single touch interface. (not your phone these days, like the GPS in your car, its likely to implement the same algorithm)

A video where the dude clicks Obama on a touch-screen voting machine and it goes to Romney.

Well, Fox just called PA for Obama, meaning Romney now absolutely NEEDS FL and OH to get the victory. :coffee: :coffee:
