Everybody wants "The Government" to spend less and reduce social programs
Right up until it applies to them - Regardless of Political affiliation or tendencies



We've seen it first hand with the now famous "Get your damn government hands off my medicare"
There seems to be a built in disconnect in the human brain when the money in question is coming to you

Frankly it has no relation to this election or who you should vote for
It's pretty much a human condition - across the board

It's the same argument as government contracts. Those folks built that business!...that relies on government spending for it's bread and butter.

Or red states taking far more in government spending versus tax revenue they generate than blue states. Gawdammn parasitic taker red states.
